Hindi ko pinangarap maging single mom.
Pero nung dumating ang araw na ako na lang ang natira,hindi ako umatras.

Umiyak ako--pero hindi araw-araw.
May araw na matatag ako.May araw na hindi.
Pero kahit anong pagod, ang hindi ko pwedeng kalimutan : MAY BATANG UMAASA SA 'KIN.

Ako ang nagigising sa gabi pag may lagnat.
Ako rin ang nagbabayad ng tuition kahit kinukulang.
Ako ang tagaluto,tagalaba,tagapakinig,tagayakap,taga-dasal.
Pag nasa school na anak ko,sobrang tahimik ng bahay habang mag-isa kong kinukumpuni ang mga sirang pinto at dingding.

Minsan gusto ko ring sumuko.
Pero sa tuwing makikita ko ang anak kong ngumingiti
kahit simpleng ulam lang ang meron,
sasabihin ko sa sarili ko :

"WALA AKONG KARAPATANG SUMUKO."

Hindi madali. Hindi perpekto.
Pero araw-araw, ginagawa kong posible ang imposibleng buhay--
Dahil hindi ko ito ginagawa para sa sarili ko lang.
Ginagawa ko ito para sa taong pinakamahalaga sa mundo:

Ang anak kong ako lang ang ina--at ako rin ang ama.
