CTU-TC ROTC unit joins simultaneous blood donation drive

Cebu Technological University - Tuburan Campus (CTU-TC) Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) Unit participates in a simultaneous blood donation drive today, August 15, 2026, at the CTU-Tuburan Campus to support local medical needs.

The outreach initiative is organized in collaboration with the Reserve Command, Philippine Army (RESCOM) in celebration of its 43rd Founding Anniversary.

By mobilizing student cadets and local donors, the campus blood drive aims to provide critical life-saving resources to patients, families, and communities in need.

“Blood donation is more than an act of kindness—it is a gift that cannot be replaced,” said organizers.

The blood donation drive is currently ongoing at the CTU Social Hall, and organizers are urging all available students, faculty, and community members to drop by the venue and donate before the drive concludes today.

CTU Tuburan choir recruits freshmen, audition starts on August 17

The Bulawanong Tinubdan Harmony Collective of Cebu Technological University-Tuburan Campus is set to welcome aspiring singers as it opens auditions for freshmen members from August 17 to 20, 2026.

Auditions will be held from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. at the FabLab Room, where interested freshmen will be assessed for their vocal ability and potential to join the campus choir.

Additionally, applicants are required to prepare two songs for the audition: one in English and one in Tagalog medium.

Interested freshmen are encouraged to prepare their pieces and attend the audition within the scheduled dates and time.

The Bulawanong Tinubdan Harmony Collective is known for placing 4th in Vocal Duet Competition during PASUC National Culture and the Arts Festival 2026, representing the entire Region 7.
