As a seasoned language professor in the Department of Communication, Languages, and Literature, Dr. Pielago has dedicated her career to teaching and creating exceptional learning materials for both the English and Cebuano languages.

Science meets art in the most beautiful way. 🔬🎨

So incredibly proud of the soft launch of “Tambayayong”. This book is a beautiful exploration of convergence, featuring paintings paired with ekphrastic poetry that brings each piece to life.

The soft launch took place last Thursday, March 12, during the RACCETCon and SEECon 2026 at BAI Hotel. It was inspiring to see such a unique fusion of disciplines celebrated on such a grand stage.

We are sincerely grateful to the Cebuano Arts Club and Engineer Mike Abundo for their partnership and dedication. Their contributions were instrumental in the successful launch of this unique project.

The story of 11-year-old Simon Rafael Lawas serves as a powerful testament to the importance of reading in fostering intellectual growth, cultural appreciation, and eloquence.

At just a young age, Simon is making waves for his eloquence, his intelligence, and his deep love for for learning. We are honored that among his many books, Simon names "Poblacion Houses in Cebu" as his favorite. Our mission has always been to document the richness of Cebuano culture, of Filipino culture in general, and hearing Simon echo those exact words is the greatest reward for a publisher.
