He was ready before I was. 2 years and 5 months of breastfeeding, and just like that, he let go. No fuss, no pleading—just a quiet understanding that it was time. My mama heart is so proud, yet it aches for the bond we just closed a chapter on. 🥺😭

Growing old doesn’t seem so scary with the right person by your side.

Aesun and Gwansik went through a lot.
They were broke for most of their life.
They lost a child.
Their son went to jail.
Their daughter had to study and work far away.

Life was never easy for them. But they stayed.
They never gave up on each other.

Gwansik never got tired of hearing Aesun talk. He listened to her stories like it was the first time.
When she was happy, he was happy too.

He didn’t say much.
But his love was clear.
It didn’t need big words.
It stayed. It showed up.
It chose her every day.
