Vlogger ‘Boy Tapang’ Arrested Again for VAWC Case

Pinoy Vlogger Ronnie Quitara Suan, popularly known as "Boy Tapang," was arrested once again on May 30, 2025, at around 12:15 p.m. in Barangay Carreta, Cebu City. Suan, 25, is a resident of Barangay Daanlungsod, Alcoy, Cebu.

The arrest was carried out by the City Intelligence Unit (CIU) of the Cebu City Police Office (CCPO), led by Police Captain Christopher Irwin Sanchez. Authorities served a warrant of arrest, and Suan voluntarily surrendered to the police.

Suan is facing charges for violating Republic Act 9262, also known as the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children (VAWC) Act. The Regional Trial Court Branch 143 in Cainta, Rizal, set his bail at P72,000.
