Prayer for Black Saturday

Lord God,
On this quiet Black Saturday, the world is wrapped in a solemn silence. We sit in the space between the sorrow of the cross and the joyful promise of the empty tomb.
As we remember Christ resting in the darkness, teach us how to wait with grace. In the moments of our own lives when we face uncertainty, shadows, or grief, grant us the patience and faith to trust that Your light is always working behind the scenes.
Keep our hearts watchful and our spirits steadfast. Use this day of rest to renew our souls, and prepare us to welcome the glorious dawn of the Resurrection with profound gratitude and radiant hope.
In Your Holy Name, we pray.
