Contentment demonstrates your belief that God loves you and has your best interest in mind.
Discontent stems from the sin of ingratitude and a lack of faith that God loves you enough to provide for all that you need.
Strive to be grateful for all that God has given you.
A grateful heart has no room for envy.

Sometimes I feel afraid and seem to be blinded.
By what I can't see and what lies before me.
Then Jesus comes, and he says,
“My child I'm here, hold on.”

When the dark night comes around,
And loneliness and emptiness invade my heart,
And there's no one to guide me,
Jesus comes, and he says, “my child, hold on”.

While some may believe that we should report it right away, they are unaware that there are women who are "scared." People may not believe them, and it may come out as victim blaming, in which case they would never be heard or receive assistance. Never judge a woman who has experienced SH/SA.

“Make no Friendship with an Angry Man”
Proverbs 22:24-25

“Make no friendship with an angry man; and with a furious man thou shalt not go: Lest thou learn his ways, and get a snare to thy soul.” - Prov. 22:24-25

The Bible warns us to stay away from a person who is an angry person, “hot tempered”, “init ulo”, or always “lood” type of an individual. The warning is that we can become just like them by sympathizing with them, and “learning his ways”. This is a very scary thought for the Christian!

Remember, the bantay of the pigs does not leave his work with the pigs now smelling like him. In fact, he will go home spelling like the pigs instead.
