To all individuals who supported my Comic I am glad to announce that amazing changes will be applied to the characters🧡 Will be posting more of these unique upgrades in the coming days!

I did research some Filipino fashion and transform it into contemporary styles. I finished two characters while the rest are draft sketches.

MEET OUR FILIPINO DEMON HUNTERS! 🇵🇭✨

Long ago, when shadows began to rise and whispers of evil swept across the land, three women from different tribes answered the call. Bound by courage and destiny, they wielded not blades, but music, melodies so powerful they could shatter the grip of darkness.

When their voices and instruments joined as one, the sound birthed the “Alon” a colossal, unseen wave of magic that only they and their forebears could summon. To ordinary mortals, it was silent… but to demons, it was the roar of their doom. 🌊

Yet deep in the Lower World, the evil deity Sitan plotted his return. He vowed to manifest in the Middle World and harvest mortal souls. Every century, the Hunters rise again, cleansing the land with the "Alon" to seal him away.

And so the legend endures. The Hunters’ spirit runs in our veins… waiting for the day the music must play once more

International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples 2025

This August 9, we join the global community in celebrating the International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples, recognizing the resilience, knowledge, and rights of Indigenous communities worldwide. On 23 December 1994, the United Nations General Assembly decided, in its resolution 49/214, that the International Day of the World’s Indigenous People shall be observed on 9 August every year. The date marks the first meeting, in 1982, of the UN Working Group on Indigenous Populations.

With this year’s theme—“Indigenous Peoples and AI: Defending Rights, Shaping Futures”—we reflect on how emerging technologies can both challenge and empower Indigenous communities in safeguarding their identities and advancing self-determined development.

In the Philippines, we pay tribute to our diverse Indigenous Cultural Communities/Indigenous Peoples (ICCs/IPs), whose deep cultural wisdom, ancestral traditions, and sustainable practices continue to shape our national identity. While we celebrate Indigenous Peoples Month in October, we stand with all the global IP communities in asserting their rights, promoting cultural preservation, and ensuring ethical engagement with technology as we navigate the digital age.

Let us work together for an inclusive future where innovation respects and uplifts Indigenous voices.

RUMI X JINU FANART (Kpop Demon Hunters)

I'm literally still having thoughts about these two lovebirds. Kpop Demon Hunters activated my fan girl mode!

Anyways, despite of being a 2 hour film it showed us the amazing character developments of Rumi and Jinu. From enemies to lovers trope, its old but gold! In order to shut myself up I poured my energy into this Fanart. it didn't get much views and engagement before but hoping this time it reaches the right audiences.
I also inserted few demons in since I want to hahahah.

But yeah it's a sad reality that Jinu was being burdened by his actions and it manifested into his antagonistic Character. Instead of making amends, he gave up and continued his ways for 400 years until he met Rumi. So yeah we need a Sequel for this film!!!

What if the 🇵🇭Philippines have Demon Hunters?
PART II. CHARACTER EXPLORATION

Kpop Demon Hunters is not only an entertaining film but also an educational experience for us audiences who have limited knowledge about Korean culture. It made me think of what could me the looks and characteristics of our Filipino Hunters.

Based on research, I chose three cultures to focus on namely, the Tagalog, Bisaya and Manobo. Despite of their distinct beliefs, the combination of their existence is quite interesting.

For the Tagalogs, we have "YALE" a noble who deeply cares about her people. She has an angelic voice that can eliminate demons. Also, she is the leader of the Hunters. This Character is inspired from Idinayale, the Goddess of Good Deeds.

In the Bisaya Tribes, we have "NAGI", a warrior who fights under the Datu. She has unmatched fighting skills with the assistance of her poison-coated weapons. She has a beautiful voice that can locate dark forces.

Lastly is "IBU" from the Manobo tribe. She is well-respected healer in the village. Her expertise in medicine and enchantments made her unique and powerful. But she hides a secret, she can see demons and predict the death of people. She was cursed for having such knowledge.

The three warriors set aside their differences and unite to defeat a common enemy. They bonded through hardships and understood each other's pain and shame.
