Synopsis:
In a society grappling with an inflated economy, Pedro, a 23-year-old working student, struggles to balance his demanding job and studies, pushing his health to the brink while trying to support his grieving mother, Nanay Lith. As Pedro hides his deteriorating condition from her, she copes with her sorrow through fervent
prayer, embodying a toxic belief that faith alone can solve their problems. Their relationship becomes strained when Nanay Lith discovers Pedro's declining health, forcing her to confront her neglect and the need for action beyond prayer. With the help of a mysterious beggar who offers wisdom about resilience and the importance of balancing faith with action, both Pedro and Nanay Lith learn that true support comes from mutual understanding and tangible efforts.
