I’m still in awe wearing this red sash in my shoulder. Who would have thought that my life would change this massively in just a short span of time? Yes, it did! 💪
I can still remember 7 months ago, I was just a typical teacher in an island school with a life so simple and dreams unadorned. I thought my life would be all about the island 🏝, the school 🏫, my weekend sea travels 🚣, early morning flag ceremonies 🇵🇭, colored uniforms 👩🏫, pep talks with my colleagues at break time, writing on my dusty but worthy chalkboard, and of course not to mention the legendary lesson plan that makes me awake, all night! Hahaha! The unending everyday discussions with the students that I have learned to love, even they eventually leave every time the school year ends. Such memories! 😊
Yes, it’s still me. The teacher Sheila that you once knew. The same girl, but now with a different mindset, goals, and dreams--ready to conquer the world with passion and purpose of changing other people’s lives the way her life does. ✨
Seven months ago I took a slightly different direction when I met Elites Empire, out of the norm, outside the expectation of so many--but I did it anyway because I needed it to grow, to learn, to be more. So much has happened, parang seven years of learnings, growth, and results ang ibinigay nito sa akin. My heart goes to these people who molded me to be the best version of myself. Thank you so much, Empress Pearl Hung 💜 for making me realized my value, LPG Louie Gascon for teaching me to be happy in whatever state I am in, to Queen Jose Maria Hospital who taught me that Speed is the name of the game that’s why binilisan ko sa network and my mentor Ante K Meunnie Cullantes, the reason why I met this community. The best ka! I love you so much, Up! ❤️
To Elites Empire, words are not worthy enough to express my gratitude that’s why I vow to pay it forward, to share this to every person I will have the opportunity to meet and become a channel of blessing din to all the dreamers out there to believe that they can, because I DID IT already. 💪
