Cebu Newscoop is a cooperative of workers in the media industry—now open to the community!
We started in 1996 with just 34 print media workers from Sun Star Publishing, The Freeman, and Cebu Daily News, and registered with the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) on September 10, 1996.

Through the years, our membership has expanded:
📅 2004 – Included broadcast media (TV & Radio), allied media workers (promo advertising, manpower services, news dealers/distributors)
📅 2016 – Opened to the general community
