IF YOU'RE FILIPINO, THEN YOU SHOULD READ THIS STORY!
"A mother of a boy named Nathan asked her son to go to the port to buy crabs. Nathan picked up his bag and headed to the port. Upon arrival, he saw a sailor selling crabs. The crabs were organized in three baskets, two of which were closed. Nathan approached the seller and said, 'Hello sir, I want to buy crabs but I don't know which ones to choose.'
The sailor replied, 'Well, I have three kinds of crabs to sell: USA Crabs, Japanese Crabs, and Philippines Crabs.'
Curious, Nathan asked, 'What are the differences between these crabs?'
The sailor gestured for him to come closer and opened the basket containing the USA Crabs. Nathan saw large crabs helping each other by tossing so they could escape the basket. The sailor quickly closed the basket and opened the one containing the Japanese Crabs. Nathan observed small crabs assisting each other in climbing out. Once again, the sailor closed the basket.
As the third basket, containing the Philippines Crabs, was already open, Nathan inquired, 'Why is this Philippines basket left open?'
The sailor smiled and said, 'Look at them, kid.' Nathan noticed the crabs pulling each other down as they climbed, preventing any from escaping the basket.
Perplexed, Nathan asked the sailor, 'Why do these crabs act like that?'
The sailor replied, 'I don't know. I think they don't want everyone to be successful, so they drag each other down.'
Turning to Nathan, the sailor asked, 'Which crab will you buy, kid?'"
If you are the kid, which crab will you buy?
LESSON: Only in the Philippines bawal ang yumaman magagalit ang mga kapitbahay! Embes na tulungan ka umangat, hihilain kapa pababa. Sad but true in some instances...Pero meron din naman na supportive at mababait na tao na handang tumulong sa atin. Dapat magtulungan sana.❤️❤️❤️Peace!
