The grounds of BIT Building buzzed with a distinct creative energy as the highly anticipated Arts & Design Fair officially commenced. Organized by the powerhouse community of the Drafting Technology program, the day was a spectacular showcase of technical precision, raw artistic talent, and academic excellence.
The morning kicked off with the formal opening of the Arts & Design exhibit. A prestigious ribbon-cutting ceremony marked the official commencement, attended by an esteemed lineup of campus leaders and distinguished alumni:

The exhibit itself was a breathtaking testament to the evolution of the students' craft, spotlighting the diverse works of first-year to third-year Drafting Technology students. Visitors marvelled at the intricate scaled miniature projects, 3D renders and visualizations, and soul-stirring pencil renderings and paintings. Another highlight of the exhibit was the collection of masterpieces born from the rigorous trainings of the Regional PASUC Culture and the Arts Festival 2025.
Masterclass in Artistry: The Morning Workshop
At 10:00 AM, the focus shifted to the Visual Techniques Room for a highly anticipated painting demonstration and art talk led by industry-recognized alumnus, Mr. Darwin Purisima. Aspiring student artists packed the room, eager to absorb insights from a MADE 2025 semifinalist. Mr. Purisima shared his technical expertise, creative philosophy, and professional journey, igniting a fresh wave of inspiration among the next generation of CTU designers and artists.
By 2:00 PM, the atmosphere turned electric as the afternoon competitions officially began. Students put their skills, speed, and focus to the test across five challenging categories, bridging the gap between traditional art and modern digital drafting:

Triump, Gratitude, and a Luminous Finale
As dusk fell at 6:00 PM, the community gathered to celebrate the day's achievements. The crowd erupted in cheers as the winners of the various competitions were finally announced. Following the student awards, the department took a moment to express its deep gratitude, awarding certificates of appreciation to the event's speakers and judges. The formal segment concluded with a massive, high-energy photo opportunity featuring the entire Drafting Technology student body.
The Night's Highlight: The true magic of the fair unfolded during the penultimate eventโthe formal lighting of all the scaled miniature projects. As the lights dimmed and the tiny, intricate model structures glowed to life, the room was filled with collective awe, symbolizing the bright future of these future draftsmen.
The unforgettable day concluded in true community fashion. Students, faculty shared a hearty dinner, celebrating individual triumphs and collective pride through lively music, great food, and camaraderie.
