I'm not looking for someone to simply spend time with. I'm looking for someone I can build a lifetime with. And if I choose you, it's because I see a future worth fighting for.

Oh, my South. There are so many ways to celebrate you, but one thing I truly love is chasing waterfalls, being far from the noise of the world, where everything feels a little quieter and your mind gets the space to wander.

The last time I did this was in 2019. I remember how deafening the silence could be. Somehow, when everything around you becomes quiet, your thoughts become louder. Doors seem to open in your mind, and thoughts become deeper than they usually are on an ordinary day.

This trip was supposed to be a date. But a week before today, something happened that disturbed my peace. I had two choices: accept and compromise, or say no because I knew I deserved respect and because I value my peace more than anything. To cut the long story short, it ended before it even started.

As the days passed, I found myself struggling with whether I should still travel or not. At the same time, I realized that the solo traveler in me was slowly fading. The excitement of seeing places on my own was becoming a battle between “Should I go?” and “Maybe I shouldn’t.”

Then I woke up today and thought about all the possibilities. What if I went anyway, even if I ended up being the only person who showed up?

So I went.

I arrived at the place, and everything was quiet. It felt different from the usual days I’ve had, yet strangely familiar. I remembered the moments when I used to travel alone, the places I had been, the things I discovered, and most importantly, the version of myself I found along the way.

I was scared to do it again. But today reminded me that it’s okay to be scared. It’s okay to be alone. Sometimes, being alone gives you the space to hear the things you’ve been too distracted to listen to.

Maybe this trip was never really about the waterfalls.

Maybe it was about finding my way back to myself.

And perhaps, sometimes, losing the company you wanted is exactly what you need to remember that you were never meant to lose yourself just to have someone beside you.

Before you go to sleep tonight, I just want to remind you of something, something I hope you’ll carry with you, especially on the days when you doubt yourself.

You are enough. You are capable of more than you think. You are loved, you are important, and you are worthy, even when nobody is there to remind you of those things.

You don’t always need someone to tell you that you’re beautiful. You don’t need someone else’s approval to feel like you matter. And you don’t need another person to validate your worth.

Sometimes, the person we forget to believe in is ourselves.

So tonight, I hope you learn to trust yourself a little more. Be kinder to yourself. Give yourself the same understanding and love that you so freely give to other people.

Because at the end of the day, you have to live with yourself, and I hope you learn to be proud of the person you are becoming.

You are already enough. You always have been.

Good night, everyone. Rest well. You’ve done enough for today. 🤍

I spent years feeling insecure about my body. I avoided attention, hated being in crowds, and never truly felt confident in my own skin.

Then I found the mountains. They reminded me that confidence isn’t measured by your body, but by your courage - the willingness to keep climbing, to keep showing up, and to believe in yourself despite your doubts. The mountains taught me to be proud of who I am.

Last year, I decided to start going to the gym. At first, it wasn’t even about becoming healthier - it was about changing the way I saw myself. What I never expected was that the biggest transformation wouldn’t be physical. It was the confidence I found along the way.

Today, I carry myself differently. Not because my body is perfect, but because I finally learned to appreciate it. I am becoming someone who lives more freely, more confidently, and more unapologetically. And that, more than any physical change, is the greatest transformation of all.
