Today, I choose to be grateful. π€
Itβs my birthday, and my heart is fullβnot because life has always been easy, but because I can look back and see how far Iβve come. I once dreamed of becoming a broadcaster, and today, I am living that dream. I am not only a broadcaster, but a certified KBP passer. Something I once only prayed and hoped for is now a part of my reality. And for that, I will always be grateful.
But this day also carries a bittersweet meaning. Today is also the anniversary of my fatherβs passing. There will always be a part of me that wishes he were here to witness the things I have achieved and the person I have become. I carry his memory with me, and somehow, I hope he knows that I am doing my best to make this life meaningful.
Today, I allow myself to be happy. I celebrate my life, my journey, the dreams I have achieved, and the dreams I am still working toward. Iβve learned that happiness and grief can exist in the same heartβand that remembering someone we lost doesnβt mean we have to stop celebrating the life we were given.
And to everyone who has sincerely been grateful to have me in their lives, thank you. Thank you to the people who genuinely appreciate my presence, who remember me, who check on me, who believe in me, and who make me feel that being part of their lives matters. Please know that I am just as grateful to have you in mine.
Another year older. Another year wiser. Another year of becoming.
For the dreams that came true, the people who stayed, the ones I carry in my heart, and the life I am still blessed to liveβ
Happy birthday to me. π€
And Dad, wherever you are, I hope youβre proud. I missed you and loved you so much ποΈ
