RELIEF EFFORTS FOR NORTHERN CEBU FOLLOWING THE 6.9-MAGNITUDE EARTHQUAKE 🙏🧡🤲✨
After the recent 6.9-magnitude earthquake that struck northern Cebu, our organization, Cebu Bloggers Society, joined hands with Brand Stories Marketing & Events and AdTeam Advertising Solutions. Together, we raised funds, packed relief goods, and traveled from Cebu City to reach some of the hardest-hit communities.
From gathering donations, sourcing supplies despite empty shelves and long queues, packing, and enduring sleepless nights, every effort was fueled by compassion and the desire to help. Our initial plan proved too risky, and with many groups also distributing aid, finding the “roads less traveled” was far from easy.
That’s when Plan B came to life! A true blessing and a clear sign of God’s guidance. No traffic, weather was great, everything was smooth. Alhamdulillah 🙏💫
Huge gratitude to all our donors, both in cash and in kind, to Brand Stories for allowing us to store all the relief goods, etc., to the AdTeam gentlemen for keeping us safe throughout the journey, and to the locals who welcomed us with open hearts. Daghang Salamat!🤗🧡🙏🙌✨
