Never in a million years did I think I’d build something like Lace Mystique with my own hands. 🤍
I’ve always seen myself as a digital creative. Designing brands, creating content, and bringing ideas to life through a screen was where I felt most comfortable.
Before Lace Mystique, I tried making satin ribbon roses and fuzzy wire flowers because I wanted to explore something new. But if I’m being honest, I got frustrated. No matter how hard I tried, I just couldn’t get them to look the way I wanted. I even started thinking that maybe handcrafted creations just weren’t for me.
Then I found my way to making hair clips.
I didn’t expect to enjoy it this much.
Of course, my first few pieces weren’t perfect. I had to learn, practice, and start over more times than I can count. But little by little, I got better. And somewhere along the way, I realized that creativity isn’t about getting everything right on the first try—it’s about giving yourself the chance to keep creating.
Now, I look at this collection and still can’t believe these came from my own hands.
Lace Mystique reminded me that it’s okay if your first attempt doesn’t work out. Sometimes the thing you’re meant to create is something you haven’t discovered yet.
So if you’re trying something new and it feels impossible, don’t let one failed attempt convince you that you’re not creative enough.
Maybe you’re just one idea away from finding the thing you’re truly meant to build.
