One thing that this pandemic has proven is that a tragedy can cause great transformations. Whether at home or in the workplace, our practices have shifted, and what we once thought were impossible are now part of the new normal. Our needs have also evolved, but rather than being told to “just live with it,” there are all kinds of solutions to everything these days. There’s an opportunity for all of us and these home entrepreneurs have seized theirs. The world is forever changed by this crisis we’re in but like these people, we can learn to adapt, too.

Just like the rest of this year’s holidays, summer looks and feels different now that trips to our favorite vacation destinations have been taken out of the equation. Even long drives are impossible due to strict border control. Don’t let any of these dampen the summer spirit though. There are all kinds of activities you can do at home whether you’re flying solo or holed up with family. All it takes is getting creative with your space, both indoors and outdoors, and this issue proves just that.

We’d be lying through our teeth if we told you we haven’t been living in our comfiest (sometimes ratty) shirts and pairs of sweats all day, every day since the lockdown. But when it comes to work meetings, you have to look polished, at least from the waist up. In this issue, we show you how dressing the part can be fun—even if it means just rolling out of bed and into the (virtual) boardroom in our pajamas. Trust us, it’s a welcome break from our dreary routine and disheveled selves.
