Strengthening GAD and CODI Initiatives at CIT-University

Our GAD Focal Person and CODI Chairperson, Dr. Luni N. Villacastin, participated in the Visayas Cluster Orientation of the Committee on Decorum and Investigation (CODI) for Private Higher Education Institutions (PHEIs) on September 10, 2026, in Iloilo City, organized by CHED Regional Office VII.

Her participation strengthens CIT-University’s commitment to gender-responsive, safe, inclusive, and respectful learning and working environments, while further enhancing our institutional mechanisms in addressing gender-based sexual harassment and related concerns.

Building capacity. Strengthening mechanisms. Promoting safe spaces. 🤝

CIT-U CES Parents’ Orientation

As we begin the School Year 2026–2027 Remediation Program for our Elementary and Junior High School CES Scholars, the CIT-U Community Extension Services (CES) conducted a Parents’ Orientation to introduce the program, discuss its objectives, and strengthen our partnership with parents in supporting their children’s learning journey.

The orientation also provided an opportunity to assess and better understand the students’ learning progress, achievements, and areas for improvement, helping us identify the support and interventions they need to succeed. 💙

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to our parents, students, teachers, school PTA and CES team for their active participation, cooperation, and continued support. Your partnership is essential in helping our scholars build confidence, strengthen their skills, and reach their full potential. 🤝

Together, we learn. Together, we grow. Together, we make a difference. 💙✨
