Yesterday, August 16, 2025, Virgen de los Remedios Parish Caritas once again extended its mission of compassion during our twice-a-month Mini-Medical Mission at Sitio Callejon.

This was made possible through the efforts of our chapel officers, Caritas volunteers, CIT-University CNAHS students, Konsulta Klinika doctors, caregivers, and the support of the Barangay Labangon Tanods.

One touching moment was when a doctor took time to visit a bedridden patient at home, offering care and comfort right where it was needed.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this mission possible.

Despite the scorching sun, students, departments, and organizations are coming together—united in purpose and spirit. It’s a celebration of community, connection, and shared goals, radiating the true essence of ohana.

Laughter fills the air, friendships are forming, and memories are being made. As Lilo & Stitch remind us:

Yesterday marked the culminating highlight of EEbangon: From‑Out‑to‑School • To‑On‑the‑Wire, where our resilient beneficiaries from the ALS programs in Brgy. Ermita and ALS South District 5 shone with remarkable spirit and dedication.

A heartfelt thank you goes to CIT‑University President, Engr. Bernard Nicolas E. Villamor, for your unwavering support and commitment. Our deepest appreciation also extends to the College of Electrical Engineering (EE) Department for its steadfast encouragement, and to the 1999 EE alumni whose generous sponsorship of toolkits empowered our beneficiaries even further.

We are also grateful to Sir Roy Guarin, District Supervisor and Division ALS Focal, for your presence, and to our dedicated ALS teachers for your invaluable contributions.

Though this event concluded the first phase of the EEbangon program, it’s far from over. In fact, this is only the beginning—there are many more meaningful activities on the horizon, all designed to uplift and empower our ALS families.
