𝐔𝐕 𝐂𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐁𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐒 𝐓𝐎𝐏𝐍𝐎𝐓𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐒 𝐈𝐍 𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐋𝐄𝐓

The University of the Visayas once again celebrates academic excellence as three Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSED)-Science majors, and one Bachelor of Elementary Education from the Dalaguete Campus secured top spots in the recent March 2026 Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET).

Leading the outstanding Visayanian achievers is Ramil Gabrino Gaurano Jr., who ranked Top 3, followed by Fella Tehanee Mainit Sejas at Top 5, and Micah Jirah Osa Mendoza at Top 7. Meralona Bengcolita Camilo from UV Dalaguete meanwhile placed 5th nationwide in the Elementary Level Examination.

Their remarkable achievement reflects the university’s commitment to quality education and the dedication of its future educators.

The university warmly congratulates the topnotchers for bringing pride and honor to the institution through their hard work, perseverance, and excellence.

Congratulations as well to the entire College of Education department for this outstanding achievement and for continuously producing competent and inspiring educators who embody the true spirit of academic excellence.

𝗖𝗢𝗘𝗗 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗗𝗨𝗖𝗘𝗦 𝗧𝗛𝗥𝗘𝗘 𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗖𝗛 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗟𝗘𝗣𝗧 𝗧𝗢𝗣𝗡𝗢𝗧𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗦

THE College of Education (COED) from the Main Campus produced three (3) topnotchers in the March 2026 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT) Secondary Level, administered by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) last March 15, 2026.

Ramil Gaurano earned the Top 3 spot with 94.60%, Fella Tehanee Sejas placed 5th with 94.20%, and Micah Jirah Mendoza took 7th place with 93.80%, respectively.

The COED aces are all Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Science (BSED-SCI) Latin honors graduates as well.

UV NURSING STUDENTS OFFER FREE HEALTH SERVICES FOR WORKERS ON LABOR DAY

Second-year nursing students from University of the Visayas marked Labor Day by providing free health services at Plaza Independencia.

The students offered blood pressure checks, blood glucose screening, and health education to workers and event participants as part of their academic project.

The initiative also serves as a way to give back to the community, especially to Filipino workers being honored during the celebration.
