Itinanggi ni Leyte 1st District Rep. Martin Romualdez ang mga alegasyon ni dating Ako Bicol representative Zaldy Co kaugnay ng korupsyon sa maanomalyang flood control projects.

“Throughout this inquiry, no public official, contractor, or witness has pointed to any wrongdoing on my part,” saad ni Romualdez.

"I continue to trust the ICI, the DOJ, and the Ombudsman to evaluate all statements fairly and strictly on the basis of evidence," dagdag pa niya.

Former senator Antonio Trillanes IV denied on Friday that he visited former President Rodrigo Duterte at the International Criminal Court detention center in The Hague, Netherlands to conduct a welfare check.

Trillanes added that the former Philippine leader has access to telephone 24/7 so he could have informed his family if indeed it happened.
