Our Camping Experience Review 🌿

⛺ Sandra’s Garden
* page: https://www.facebook.com/SandrasLushGarden
* Contact number: 0918 902 9170

📌 Getting There
* Location: Sudlon II, Sitio Gabi, Transcentral Highway, Cebu City
* You can take either the Transcentral Highway via Lahug or pass through Manipis Road in Tabunok.
* However, please consider the road conditions on Manipis Road, it has very narrow sections, sharp blind curves, steep drops, occasional rough pavement, and possible landslides during rainy days. On the other hand, Transcentral Highway is wider, more established, and generally safer, especially for first-time visitors.
* There is a 20-meter stretch of rough road just before the garden gate, but it is easily passable, even for sedans.

💰 Car Camping Fees & Charges
* Adults: ₱450 per day
* Children below 9 years old: ₱200 per day
* Dogs (Any Breed): ₱150
* Tent Pitching: Free
* Car Parking: Free
* Pool Access: ₱200 (one-time payment)
* Horse Back Riding: ₱250 for 3 rounds

⛺ Campsite Setup & Condition
* Spacious and scenic, with landscaped gardens and wide grassy spaces that give off a countryside vibe.
* The ground is flat and grassy, making it easy to set up pegs. However, it becomes very soft and muddy when it rains.
* It gets very cold, especially at night.

🚗 Parking Situation
* There is space for several vehicles, though not a large number.
* You cannot park next to your tent, so you will need to carry your gear to the pitching area.

🐕 Pet policy
* Pets are allowed within the garden premises with additional fee.
* They must be on leash when roaming around the garden.

📶 Signal & Power
* Both Globe and Smart have no signal at all.
* They provide Wi-Fi and it’s quite strong, but most of the time it shows “No internet available.” Maybe we were just far from the router where we pitched our tent.
* There are multiple power outlets outside the pavilion and inside as well.

🌙 Quiet Hours
* No specific quiet hours are posted.
* It was very peaceful during our stay since we were the only campers there, and all you could hear were crickets.

🌬️ Weather During Our Stay
* It was very cold during our stay as it poured on the second day, we rarely used our fans because of it.
* The rain continued into the third day, and we ended up packing our gear while it was still wet.

🏊 Activities
* A swimming pool is available for an additional fee.
* Horseback riding is available.

Facilities
* 🚻 Toilets: 2 units. Very clean and smell fresh.
* 🚿 Showers (hot and cold): 2 bathrooms available.
* 🔌 Electricity: Available at no extra cost.
* 💧 Potable water: Not provided. Please bring your own.
* 🔥 Bonfire: Allowed, but you need to bring your own firewood.
* ⛺ Tents: No tent rentals available. Guests must bring their own.

🔒 Safety & Staff Support
* The place felt safe. The area where we pitched our tent had a white picket fence-style gate.
* They also have a stay-in caretaker you can approach for the Wi-Fi password and other needs.
* The owner even messaged us on Messenger to check how our first night went.

👍 What Stood Out
* The place is very breezy and gets really cold at night, so make sure to bring a jacket and wear pajamas.
* Super scenic, perfect for photoshoots. Definitely Instagram-worthy.
* The bathrooms are extremely clean, smell great, and have bidets. Showers even have hot and cold water.
* The mosquitoes are a different breed, bigger than usual 😂! They’re mostly active around dusk and quiet down after dark, so bring citronella or insect repellent.
* It’s still in the city, just about an hour’s drive away.
* The caretakers are friendly and very accommodating.

💡 Tips Before Booking
* Reservations are required, so message their page in advance.
* Check the weather before heading up, as it’s not recommended to go via TCH or the Manipis route during heavy rain due to landslide risk.

🌟 Final Verdict – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
* Worth the price and suitable for any occasion.
* We will definitely camp here again.

Our Camping Experience Review 🌿

⛺ Tanyon Bay Beach House
* page: https://www.facebook.com/TanyonBay/
* Contact number: 0994 668 5069

📌 Getting There
* Location: Ronda, Cebu
* There is a short rough road section just before the resort gate, but it is passable without hassle, even for low-clearance vehicles.

💰 Fees & Charges
* Adults: ₱300
* Children below 10 years old: ₱150
* Toddlers (2 years old and below): Free
* Pool and Beach Access: Free

⛺ Campsite Setup & Condition
* The campsite is tidy and well-kept.
* Ground condition is flat and grassy but some areas are uneven and rocky (seabed-type rocks) making it challenging to drive in pegs so plan your tent placement.
* Open area with minimal shade

🚗 Parking Situation
* There is enough space for multiple vehicles.
* Parking is allowed near the tent area, making it convenient to unload and access your vehicle easily.

🐕 Pet policy
* Pets are allowed within the resort premises.
* They are free to roam and play in designated open areas.

📶 Signal & Power
* Both Globe and Smart have good mobile signal and data coverage in the area.
* The open platform is equipped with solar-powered lights.
* There are eight charging outlets available on the platform, which is why we pitched our tent nearby.

🌙 Quiet Hours
* No specific quiet hours are posted.
* During our stay, there were day users who were very noisy, drinking and doing karaoke until around 11:00 PM.
* After that, the area became relatively quiet at night.

🌬️ Weather During Our Stay
* It was very windy, which made pitching the tent more comfortable.
* Weather conditions were unpredictable, with intermittent rain followed by sunny periods.
* At night, it would rain briefly and then stop, repeating several times.

🏊 Activities
* A swimming pool is available.
* There is also beach access, though it is not white sand and has mangroves along the shoreline.

Facilities
* 🚻 Toilets (Cleanliness: ⭐⭐⭐⭐): 2 cubicles near the pool area, 1 cubicle near the receiving area. Staff were actively cleaning the restrooms in the morning.
* 🚿 Showers (Cold water only): 2 cubicles near the pool area
* 🔌 Electricity: Available with no extra fee
* 💧 Potable Water: Small bottled mineral water is available for purchase
* 🔥 Bonfire: Allowed but must bring your own firewood
* ⛺ Tents: No tent rentals available; guests must bring their own

🔒 Safety & Staff Support
* The campsite is gated, and there is usually a guard stationed at the receiving area.
* On our last night, the guard was away for a while, and someone kept asking to be let in, saying he was the chef.
* We didn’t let him in for safety reasons, especially since the guard was gone for some time and the person kept insisting.

👍 What Stood Out
* The place is very breezy and not humid, which made the stay comfortable.
* The swimming pool is huge and has different depths, so my child really enjoyed swimming.
* It’s not too far from the city, and the drive is pretty easy.
* The staff are nice and accommodating.
* There is no strict check-in time for campers, so arriving early is allowed.

💡 Tips Before Booking
* Booking on a weekday is better if you want a quieter stay.
* Reservations are not required, but we called ahead to inform the resort and paid upon arrival.
* Arrive early to get better options when choosing where to pitch your tent.

🌟 Final Verdict – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
* Worth the price and suitable for any occasion.
* We will definitely camp here again.
