Created by Raven Carlisle C. Tabanera, a 3D artist and animator from Mandaue City, the project is inspired by iconic zombie games and films like The Last of Us, Dying Light, and 28 Days Later. What started as a passion project became a striking visualization of a haunting question: What if a zombie outbreak happened here at home?

Learning 3D animation since September 2021, Raven says the video is currently a creative explorationβ€”but he and his partner Julie are also playing with story ideas for a possible short film in the future.

For aspiring young Cebuanos, Raven leaves a simple but powerful reminder:

β€œStart. Most tools are free. If you really want to create, take that first step, stay consistent, and enjoy the process.”
