We honor the lives lost and stand with survivors, families, and communities impacted by su***de.

Many people with suicidal thoughts feel isolated and overwhelmed. Timely intervention, active listening, and professional support can save lives. Misunderstandings about mental illness often make people suffer in silence.

Education helps us respond with compassion and reminds people they are not alone. It also calls us to action: training our schools, workplaces, and families to recognize warning signs and offer proper help.

A reminder to all of us: we do not know what others are carrying. Be gentle. Be respectful. Hold space.

Organized in observance of National Heroesโ€™ Day, the event brought students and advocates together for a film screening, talkback session, educational discussion, and zine launch.

The gathering highlighted the critical urgency of climate justice in the Philippinesโ€”a nation increasingly vulnerable to environmental degradation and severe weather impacts. Discussions emphasized that safeguarding our ecosystems requires more than systemic policy change. It demands immediate, active protection for the grassroots activists, indigenous communities, and local defenders risking their lives on the frontlines of environmental preservation.

The event emphasized that every film is both a message and an urgent call to action. Attendees were reminded that everyday heroism begins with small, conscious choicesโ€”from properly segregating waste to supporting sustainable brands.
