Arrival honors were rendered for the eight of the eleven fallen heroes that were killed in action in an encounter in Sulu last April 17.

The honors were attended by the Armed Forces of the Philippines Chief of Staff General Felimon Santos Jr, Secretary of National Defense Delfin Lorenzana, and the Major Service Commanders at Colonel Jesus Villamor Air Base on April 18, 2020.

After the arrival honors, seven of the eight cadavers that arrived will remain at the PAF mortuary and will be air transported to their respective residences, the remaining will be transported via land to his hometown in Nueva Ecija.

The Armed Forces of the Philippines continues to defend the Filipino people from the threat of local terrorist groups while confronting the COVID 19, an unseen enemy on the other hand.
