"NEVER USE CREDIT CARD"

If you can't pay what you want to buy in cash. If you can't afford even its installment terms, do not ever use your credit card.

But if you can, then maximize its potential for cash backs and other rewards. Trust me, I have earned more than what the bank could earn from me. You just need a system.

Here is how I do it in just 3 easy steps.

Step 1. If i want to purchase something, i use my credit card to pay for it

Step 2. Allocate the payment to that purchase to my rolling fund (it usually is a high interest earning virtual bank e.g. seabank, ownbank, unobank)

Step 3. When the time comes for payment, i pull it out of the rolling fund and pay it through my expenditures bank account (this is my 'come and go' bank - a traditional bank account where expenses are being paid so that I will only trace payments from here)

Then life goes on. Easy right? Always remember, credit cards are powerful tool - to build you or destroy you.
