Daghang salamat, Sta. Cruz, for all the blessings you’ve given to me and my family! ❤️ I feel so happy and blessed nga kami gihapon ni Edz ang naka-angkon sa usa sa mga hikay for next year’s fiesta. Truly, God is so good, imagine, we only joined in 2023 and naka-angkon dayon mi last year, and now again for next year! 🙏

This devotion is very special to me because it always reminds me of my late grandparents on my father’s side. Very traditional gyud ni siya, and it brings back childhood memories when I used to go with my lola Teria to attend the novena.I used to sit with my cousins at the center of the chapel, sa banig nga hinimo sa romblon. Excited kaayo mi sa bandera, usahay muhilak pako kay dili jud ko maka-kuha haha!Kalipay kaayo sa mga bata sauna labi na makailog ug candies, peanuts, ug usahay mga dahon sa misitas pa gyud daghan.😂

Maka-remember pud ko nga magdala dayon ug thermos para painit after sa novena, either kape or tabliya, unya lagutmon dayon. Sauna, wala pa kaayo uso ang softdrinks ug pan.

Unforgettable gyud nga memories, labi na kung maigo sa hikay, mag-monggos ug pancit nga lami kaayo, unya nindot kaayo paminawn ang musekero. Hayst, memories that always bring me back. ❤️
