GREETINGS IN THE INFINITE LOVE AND GRACE OF OUR LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST BE WITH YOU ALL!

Hebrew 11:1
Now faith is the assurance of things which are to be hoped, the conviction of things not seen.

FAITH IS THE GOD-GIVEN CONFIDENCE that rests upon the divine assurance and sovereign promise of God, even concerning things that are yet to come and realities that remain unseen. Faith does not rest upon human strength, human certainty, or what the eyes can presently perceive; rather, it rests entirely upon the faithfulness and truthfulness of God.

Faith looks beyond what is temporal and visible and rests upon what God has revealed and promised. It trusts that what God has spoken, He is sovereign and faithful to accomplish according to His divine will and purpose.

Faith is not a human achievement by which we persuade ourselves to believe; it is a gracious response to God's self-revelation and promise. By grace, we are brought to rest wholly in the sovereignty of God, trusting Him even when His purposes extend beyond our understanding and His promises concern things we cannot yet see.

Faith therefore says: God has spoken; God is faithful; God is sovereign; therefore I will trust Him.

Faith does not make the promise certain—God's sovereignty and faithfulness make the promise certain. Faith simply rests upon the One who has promised.

And there is no greater assurance for faith than the life, death, and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The Son of God willingly humbled Himself and became obedient unto death—even death on a cross—accomplishing the salvation God had purposed for His people. His death declares the sufficiency of His atoning sacrifice; His resurrection declares His victory over sin and death and confirms the certainty of God's redemptive promise.

Christian faith does not rest upon an uncertain hope, but upon the finished work and victorious resurrection of Jesus Christ. What God has promised, Christ has secured, and what Christ has secured, God is sovereign and faithful to fulfill.

By grace, faith rests. By faith, we trust. And in the sovereignty of God, we are assured that His purpose cannot fail.

GREETINGS IN THE INFINITE LOVE AND GRACE OF OUR LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST!

Hebrews 13:8
“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and for ever.”

Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, is the unchanging God. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. His character does not change, His promises do not fail, His grace does not diminish, and His saving purpose remains eternally secure.

He who saved us is the unchanging God. Our salvation does not rest upon the changing strength, faithfulness, or righteousness of man, but upon the eternal faithfulness and finished work of Jesus Christ.

Through His precious blood, our sins are forgiven. Through His atoning sacrifice, redemption has been accomplished. What Christ has finished cannot be completed by human works, and what God has graciously established cannot be overturned by human weakness.

Therefore, our hope rests in Christ alone—the eternal, faithful, and unchanging Savior.

Yesterday, He was God.
Today, He is God.
Forever, He will be God.
His grace is sufficient.
His blood is sufficient.
His righteousness is sufficient.
His finished work is sufficient.

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

GREETINGS IN THE INFINITE LOVE AND GRACE OF OUR LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST BE WITH YOU ALL!

Sin, by virtue of the Fall, is intrinsic to humanity’s fallen nature. No one is exempt from the unequivocal truth that all humanity stands guilty before the holiness and righteousness of God. All are deserving of the righteous judgment and holy wrath that sin incurs. This universal guilt reveals humanity’s absolute need for the saving grace, mercy, and righteousness found in Jesus Christ alone. MAN, IN and of HIMSELF, IS NOT HIS OWN SAVIOR; he cannot redeem himself, justify himself, or reconcile himself to the sovereign and holy God.

No human being possesses the capacity, authority, or righteousness to be co-equal with God, for God alone is sovereign, Almighty, eternal, and self-sufficient, all glory belongs to Him alone. He is the Creator, while humanity is His creation; therefore, every ground of human self-sufficiency, self-exaltation, and self-justification is nullified. Humanity is utterly dependent upon God for life, righteousness, redemption, and salvation. The distinction between Creator and creature leaves no room for human boasting or justification before God.

Our only hope is to rest entirely upon the sufficiency of Christ’s once-for-all sacrifice, offered for the sins of all humanity. Through His precious blood alone there is forgiveness of sins, for Christ bore our judgment and accomplished the redemption that no human work could ever achieve. We are called to rest, through faith, in the sovereign grace and saving righteousness of Jesus Christ alone, Our Lord and Savior.

The debt was ours, but Christ bore it. The judgment was ours, but Christ endured it. The death we deserved, Christ willingly suffered in our place. Salvation is wholly by grace, accomplished by Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, and received through faith alone.

Where human works fail, Christ is sufficient.
Where sin brings death, Christ gives life.
Where condemnation stands, Christ provides redemption.
Where humanity has nothing to boast in, Christ alone is worthy.
Salvation belongs to the Lord in Jesus Christ.

To our Living and sovereign God alone belong all glory, honor, dominion, and praise, now and forever. In Jesus Name. Amen.

GREETINGS IN THE INFINITE LOVE AND GRACE OF OUR LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST BE WITH YOU ALL!

How can man define, justify, or establish himself before God, when God alone is sovereign, all—sufficient, and perfect in His glory? What can humanity offer through its own works when no effort of the flesh can attain the eternal life that God alone can provide?

In the sight of God, human righteousness falls absolutely short. Sin is not merely a failure to meet a human moral standard; it is rebellion against the holy character of God. Because God is perfectly holy and righteous, sin is wholly contrary to His nature and therefore subject to His righteous judgment. The reality of humanity’s fallen nature is death, for all have sinned and stand accountable before the holy and righteous God.

Yet the depravity of man does not diminish the glory of God’s mercy; rather, it magnifies the necessity and greatness of His sovereign grace. God’s love and grace abound beyond human measure. In Jesus Christ, God provided the only sufficient means of reconciliation: Christ Himself became the divine propitiation for the sins of His people.

“For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him”—2Corinthians 5:21

Christ, who knew no sin, the sinless spotless lamb of God, bore the judgment due to sinners in His substitutionary death. Through His shed blood there is forgiveness; through His death there is atonement; through His resurrection there is victory over sin, death and the promise of eternal life. The righteousness that humanity cannot produce through works is found in Christ alone.

Any claim to another means of salvation stands contrary to the testimony of Scripture. Salvation is not attained nor measured through human merits, religious privilege, moral effort, or the works of the flesh. Salvation belongs to God alone and is accomplished through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. It is a free unmerited gift of sovereign grace through faith.

Without Christ, humanity remains under the dominion of sin. Sin is not simply an isolated act but a bo***ge and a ruling power that corrupts the very nature of man, heart, entangles the mind, disorders the desires, and directs the will away from God. Apart from divine grace, man cannot restore himself to righteousness before his Creator.

The Word of God therefore confronts humanity with an uncompromising truth: MAN IS NOT HIS OWN SAVIOR. Man cannot establish his own righteousness. Man cannot overcome sin by his own strength. Our only hope is the righteousness and mercy of God revealed in Jesus Christ.

Where human works fail, Christ is sufficient.

Where condemnation stands, Christ provides redemption.
Where humanity has nothing to boast in, Christ alone is worthy.
Salvation belongs to the Lord in Jesus Christ.
