God, are You still listening?

LET'S TALK ABOUT IT
You pray. You serve. You show up for church, for family, for work here in , but lately heaven feels quiet.

You start to wonder if your prayers are just hitting the ceiling. You're not losing your faith,
you're just tired of feeling unheard. A lot of us feel this in private.

HERE'S A WAY THROUGH
God's silence is not His absence. He hears even the whisper you don't say out loud.

“You, Lord, hear the desire of the afflicted; you encourage them, and you listen to their cry.” — Psalm 10:17

He is not ignoring you, He is forming you in the quiet. When He seems silent, He is often closest.

Try this tonight ...The 10-Minute Honest Prayer:
No fancy words.

Set a timer for 10 minutes. Tell Him exactly where you feel unheard. No filter. Then end with this:

“Hear my cry, O God; listen to my prayer. — Psalm 61:1”

Let Him carry what you’ve been carrying alone.

If you felt this today, comment “Hear me, Lord”... we will pray for you.

Is it okay to be angry at God?

Let's talk about it.
A lot of us were taught that good Christians don't get angry at God..

So we stay quiet and pretend. But the Psalms are full of honest anger. David, Job, Jeremiah — they all told God exactly how they felt. Anger doesn't push God away. Pretending does.

Here's a way through:
You don't have to fix your feelings before you pray.

Try this today: 5 minutes, no filter.

Write it like David did...
"God, I'm angry because..." Then end with this: "But I still trust You are you with me." God can handle your honesty. That's where healing starts.

The question you pray but never say out loud: "God, where are You right now?"

Let's talk about it.
You read. You prayed. You tried to be faithful. But heaven feels quiet. And when God feels far, it's easy to think He moved away. He didn't.

Here's our idea at FaithLift: Distance is not absence. In Scripture, God's silence is never a sign of His absence, it's often the space where He is lifting your faith from feeling to trusting. A faith-lift.

Here's the lift - try this for 60 seconds:

1. Inhale this verse:

"When you pass through the waters, I will be with you." Isaiah 43:2 2.

Write it in 3 words: GOD WITH ME

3. Exhale the panic: Say those 3 words out loud, slowly, and put your phone down for a minute.
He hasn't left. He's lifting you.

What's been making you feel far this week? Drop your 3-word anchor below.

Let's lift each other.

Save this for the next time heaven feels quiet.

We've been quiet.

Faithlift has been on an upswing for months — daily prompts, stories, saves. Then this week... it dropped. I felt it. Maybe you did too.

Truth is, I got tired. 2am in Davao, brain full but empty. Prayed, but still anxious. Ever been there?

That's when I remembered what a lift actually is .. an act of strengthening one's faith. Lifting it.

So I did a 60-second Faithlift
verse from page 42 of Anchor God's Word:

1. "The Lord lifts up those who are bowed down." Psalm 146:8

2. Write it in 3 words: LORD LIFTS ME

3. Exhale the worry: say the 3 words out loud while you put your phone down.

I did it. My shoulders dropped. God hadn't gone quiet — I had.

Even faith needs a lift sometimes.

Your turn: What's one thing that's been dragging you down this week?

Drop a 3-word anchor below. Let's lift each other.

If you want the full 30-day version of these prompts, it's all in the first comment (Anchor Gods word in your mind). It's there when you need it, no pressure.

WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU WERE TRULY QUIET?

Not just sitting in a quiet room.
I mean truly quiet.
No phone.
No notifications.
No television.
No scrolling.
No worrying about what everyone else is doing.
Just you, your thoughts, and God.

We live in a world that rarely stops talking.
And sometimes we're so accustomed to the noise that silence makes us uncomfortable.

But quietness gives us something noise cannot:
A chance to reflect.
A chance to listen.
A chance to rest.
A chance to hear what we've been too busy to notice.

Jesus understood the importance of stepping away from the crowds and finding a quiet place to pray.
Maybe that's something we need to recover.

Not another
hour of information.
Not another opinion.
Not another distraction.
Just a few quiet moments with God.

You don't have to change your entire life tomorrow.
Start with a few minutes today.

Put the phone down.
Take a breath.
Open your Bible.
Pray.
Be still.

Sometimes the quiet time we keep postponing is the very time our heart needs most.

WHAT IF YOU COULD REMEMBER GOD'S WORD WHEN YOU NEEDED IT MOST?

We don't always have a Bible in our hands when life gets difficult.

But we can carry Scripture in our minds and hearts.
When temptation comes…
When fear comes…
When discouragement comes…

When someone needs encouragement…

A verse you've learned can suddenly become more than words on a page.
It becomes truth you can reach for.

That's why we created the FaithLift Memory Series — practical tools to help ordinary people learn, teach, and remember God's Word.
✓ Today's featured book:
The Twelve Keys to Scripture Made Easy
Practical Methods to Learn, Teach, and Remember the Bible

If you've ever thought, "I'd love to memorize more Scripture, but I just don't know how," this book was written with you in mind.

WHEN LIFE FALLS APART,
WHAT WORD WILL YOU HAVE LEFT TO HOLD ONTO?

We remember hundreds of things.
Phone numbers.
Passwords.
Appointments.
Songs.
But when fear comes… when temptation comes… when discouragement comes…
What Scripture is already living in your mind?

God's Word isn't meant to remain on the page. It is meant to become part of us.

David wrote:
“Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.”
— Psalm 119:11, KJV

That's why Scripture memory matters.
Not simply to memorize verses.
But to have God's truth ready when you need it most.

START TODAY
Choose one verse.
Read it aloud.
Repeat it.
Write it.
Review it throughout the day.
Then do it again tomorrow.

What if your family doesn't need a bigger house... but a stronger prayer life?

A family isn't built by walls.
It's built by moments.
Praying together. Forgiving quickly. Speaking kindly. Opening God's Word.
Joshua declared,

"As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
Joshua 24:15 (KJV)

Strong families aren't perfect.
They're committed to putting God first.

Today, gather your family
even for five minutes and pray together.

You may never realize how much those five minutes will shape eternity.

✓ Home is where strong faith grows.

Today, before you ask God for one more thing...

Pause.

Take a deep breath.
Look around.

The heartbeat in your chest. The breath in your lungs. The family member who still loves you. The friend who called. The sunrise you almost missed. The Bible waiting to be opened.

Sometimes God's greatest gifts are the ones we stop seeing because they've become familiar.

Gratitude doesn't ignore life's problems—it reminds us that God is still faithful in the middle of them.

✓ "O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever." — Psalm 107:1 (KJV)

✓ Today's Challenge: Before you go to bed tonight, thank God for three blessings you usually take for granted.

✓ We'd love to hear from you. What is one thing you're thanking God for today?
