๐ˆ๐ ๐๐‡๐Ž๐“๐Ž๐’ | August 22, 2025 โ€” The official student publication of Partido State Universityโ€“San Jose Campus, The Blaze, held their annual screening for aspiring campus journalists.

Applicants were assessed in various fields, including news writing, literary writing, sports writing, broadcasting, photojournalism, and layout design. The screening was capped off by a panel interview to further evaluate the studentsโ€™ qualifications.

๐‹๐Ž๐Ž๐Š | Join the Naga City Arts and Culture Coalition, Inc. and the Garden Cafe in supporting the powerful restaging of "Mga Aninipot sa Tahaw kan Salog."

This poignant ecological musical, written by renowned playwright Sari Saysay, delves into the environmental state of our beloved Naga and Bikol Rivers. Born from the real stories and memories of riverine communities, the play is a moving call to action for restoration and preservation.

We are incredibly proud that ๐€๐ฉ๐ซ๐ข๐ฅ ๐Š๐ฒ๐ฅ๐ž ๐„. ๐๐ž๐ซ๐ข๐œ๐จ, a student from Partido State Universityโ€”San Jose Campus, a member of Performing Arts, a radio broadcaster and photojournalist of The Blaze Publication is a vital part of this production, essaying the role of โ€œ๐“๐š๐ฅ๐š๐จ๐โ€.

The story follows Mamay Luz and her family as they grapple with memory, loss, and the fading magic of the river. Through intergenerational storytelling, it weaves indigenous knowledge with science and art, reminding us how community memory can be a powerful catalyst for change.

โ€ŽSpearheaded by various student organizations, the College Student Council (CSC), and the Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS), the celebration began with water splash by the students, marking the official opening of the program.

โ€ŽFurthermore, Mr. D**g Rian Valencia, OSAS Coordinator, shared a message to officially welcome the freshmen and encourage them to enjoy the said event.

โ€Žโ€œI canโ€™t help but feel a mix of happiness and sadness. This foam party isnโ€™t just an event โ€” itโ€™s my last memory as a 4th year student.
