The UNP Nasaririt Shark Store, a student business center, was inaugurated and blessed on October 26 at the Student Center by UNP-SC and Dr. Erwin F. Cadorna together with the UNP Officials and Board of Regents.

Highlights of the 𝗕𝗮𝗴𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲, 𝗕𝗮𝗴𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗼𝘀𝗲𝘀: 𝗮 𝗩𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗻𝗲𝘄𝗹𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗿 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝘃𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟯 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗴𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗮𝗻 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 held at UNP Gymnasium on October 23, 2023. This is a joint activity organized by SPM Janina Medina -Farinas, Vigan City Councilor and President of the National Movement of Young Legislators-Ilocos Sur Chapter, in partnership with the University of Northern Philippines, UNP-Student Council and JCI Vigan.

COMELEC has announced that there are now 23,474,452 registered youth voters which accounts for 34.24% of all registered voters in the Philippines. This is evidence of a rise in interest among young voters to participate in our democratic processes. Because of this, there is a need to fuel your interest and ensure that we can foster a political landscape that recognizes and empowers your fresh voices.

Typhoon Egay brought much devastation in our locality, most especially the flooding that affected many barangays and caused damage to properties. The Vigan City Library has been a respite for many particularly students who are looking for a quiet place to study and research. Sadly, the City Library was not spared by the wrath of Typhoon Egay and many of their books were badly damaged by mud and floodwater.

Just as having a strong conviction can help you face life's difficulties, maintaining good mental health involves building inner resilience and self-belief.
