𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗔𝗥𝗬 | -to be around you is not a dream, but a prayer

no amount of lenses could capture the way I gazed at you,
how could your unique hazel brown irises knows the melting points of my soul.
your eyes flashed like autumn leaves when they are talking to me under the sun's embrace,

as if spinning around where I stand - as if I can't breathe nor even move an inch.
I thought I am more than a complex equation,
all the components in my brain thirst only for knowledge, not even love, not even a man.

but little did I know that the wind blows me to where it wishes.
for your burnt skin ignites all the dust of my thoughts.
for the waves of your hair have tamed my uncertains ,
and your tall inches have elevated my resilience.

all of the things we've shared so much in common have been shedding a single hope,
it felt so wrong to admit how much I liked you,
but the warmth of your eyes felt like a home

although the glimpse of us for now is just an art gallery full of admiration,
the journals I shed my inks into have witnessed the whispers of my heart ,
it wasn't a dream to be around you, it was a prayer.

Iti kinabileg ti biag, nagsaway ti arapaap.
Apaman a naglikig ti kasasaad,
Bumaliwengweng a darepdep ti rigat,
Adda baliwato a matantan-awan ti ungto iti dalan.

Iti balingkawes a dalan,
Pinarak iti lugan nga awan duwa-duwa,
Simmakaynak bayat panagbanesbes iti pannubok ti biag,
Ling-et ken lulwak umararubos— mangipakita sarikedked ken tibker.

Beep! Beep! Beep!
“Ading, papanam? Tigbabaintekayton ading”.
Dagiti sinsilyo a balonko,
Isu’t mangitulod kanyak iti ballaigi ti inep.

Pito a tawen iti elementarya,

Every August, we commemorate ASEAN Month to reflect on our common roots, common purpose and common identity as members of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations.

It is a time to reflect on the richness of our diverse cultures, languages and traditions and look at the harmony that underlines our togetherness. As ASEAN nations, we continue to strive toward regional peace, prosperity and sustainable growth for all through cooperation, friendship, and respect.

This celebration is not only to reflect on how alike we are, but to also appreciate the value of how different we are. ASEAN Month invites each and every one of us to do our part in strengthening relations - through cultural exchange, education or climate initiatives. Together, we are one community with one goal - to forge a brighter, more inclusive and resilient future for Southeast Asia.

𝗠𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗔𝗬𝗔𝗡𝗚 𝗕𝗨𝗪𝗔𝗡 𝗡𝗚 𝗪𝗜𝗞𝗔!📖
