IN PHOTOS || DICT in partnership with the LGU-Clarin, Misamis Occidental (PES Office) conducted a Three (3) Day La’kip Training: Digital Literacy for Employment Readiness at Barangay Dalingap, Clarin, Misamis Occidental.

In celebration of the NATIONAL ICT MONTH this June 2025, the DICT has rolled out a Localized Accessible Knowledge and Inclusive Platform (La’kip) and Smart Village programs in Barangay Dalingap, Clarin Mis Occ. These initiatives empower local communities through inclusive digital platforms and localized knowledge-sharing efforts that support innovation and sustainable growth.

Through the strong support and a kind of leadership possessed by our Municipal Mayor - Jojo Roa and Vice Mayor Ging Oaminal DelosSantos and the SB Members everything is possible. These young minds plays a vital role in their barangay as they served as the pioneering students of this training and making sure that the knowledge they’ve get shall be used for employment related purposes.

We are very much thankful to the DICT thru Engr. Kenneth T. Asuncion - Provincial Officer, DICT 10 Misamis Occidental and his team so with the BLGU of Dalingap headed by Punong Barangay - Hon Nelson Adaza and Brgy PESO Coordinator - Hon Nikki Flores. Special thanks also to the School Head of Dalingap Elementary School for letting us used the classroom for the training duration.

In Photos || LGU- Clarin Misamis Occidental hosted a monthly meeting with the PESO MANAGERS of the Province of Misamis Occidental together with the DOLE Personnel headed by the Mis Occ Provincial Director - Mrs Ebba B. Acosta.

Courtesy Call to the Municipal Mayor, Municipal Vice Mayor, Municipal Administrator was the 1st priority before the start of the meeting. DICT Personnel was also invited during the meeting to streamline its priority programs and connect to the PESO’s in the entire province.

Meaningful conversations and ways forward was then stipulated in order to boost the core functions of the PESOs across the province. Hand in hand all things will be possible if we work together🫶
