🚒 𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐄 𝐀𝐋𝐀𝐑𝐌 🔥🚨

At approximately 1958H on May 24, 2026, 𝐂𝐎𝐑𝐄 𝟕 𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐄 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐂𝐔𝐄 𝐕𝐎𝐋𝐔𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐄𝐑𝐒 responded to a 10-70 (Rubbish Fire) incident at a Construction Site beside JCS Convenience Store in Brgy. Estaca, Compostela.

Upon receiving the call, responding personnel immediately proceeded to the area and conducted fire suppression operations to prevent the fire from spreading and ensure the safety of nearby establishments and residents.

On Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at 0928H, 𝐂𝐎𝐑𝐄 𝟕 𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐄 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐂𝐔𝐄 𝐕𝐎𝐋𝐔𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐄𝐑𝐒 responded to a 10-70 (grassfire) incident at Brgy Canamucan, Compostela.

Upon receiving the call, the team immediately proceeded to the area and assisted in fire suppression efforts to help prevent the further spread of the grassfire and ensure the safety of nearby residents and properties.

■The Basic of Operating
Hand held Radio ■

1▪︎Power & Volume:
Turn the radio on and adjust the volume so it is loud enough to hear over background noise.

2▪︎Channel Selection:
Ensure you and your intended party are tuned to the exact same channel or frequency.

3▪︎ Push-to-Talk (PTT): Radios are half-duplex, meaning you cannot listen and talk at the same time. Press and hold the PTT button, wait a brief second to ensure the channel opens, and speak.

4▪︎ Microphone Distance:
Hold the radio or microphone about 2 to 3 inches from your face. Speak across the mic (not directly into it) to avoid breathing noises.

5▪︎Antenna Care: Never hold or carry a radio by its antenna, as this can snap internal connections and degrade signal.
