In line with the 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 (𝗖𝗡𝗛𝗦) conducted a Fire suppression Drill event on July 9, 2025 at the school ground with a theme of CNHS KUMIKILOS— Kayang Umaksyon ng Mamayan na Isabuhay ang Kahandaan ng bawat Isa para maging Ligtas sa Oras ng Sakuna, the event partakes by the school heads, students and the Compostela Davao de oro firefighter team.

This event celebrates through a fire suppression drill, demonstrating the things and steps needed during the fire emergencies. This aims to raise awareness on disaster preparedness, promote a culture of safety, and emphasize the importance of community readiness in times of calamity.

Compostela National High School (CNHS) has entered into a partnership with a private IT company Through the initiative of Sir Joan Eturma who seek partnership to strengthen the Learning Management System (LMS) under Project S.P.A.R.K (Supporting Progress and Advancement through Reliable Knowledge). The formal agreement was sealed during a meeting held at the principal’s office on July 1, 2025, attended by the heads Sir Joan Eturma, Sir Nannel Aranton, Sir Sandy G. Yee, and Ma'am donabelle Oxtero. CNHS secured assistance in the form of a software package and essential IT services. The private company further extended its support by donating subscription processes required to operate and sustain the LMS .

The partnership Under on Project S.P.A.R.K. — Self-Paced Accessible Resources for Knowledge. Under this project, they provided CNHS with valuable software packages and services that will power the school’s Learning Management System (LMS). In addition to technical support, the company has donated subscription processes essential for operating the LMS platform.

With this new system in place, both teachers and students of CNHS can now access learning materials and review subjects online. The LMS ensures that education continues uninterrupted, regardless of calamities such as flood and earthquake that may disrupt traditional classroom learning, especially that the compostela Davao de oro is prone to suspensions due to the emergency calamities.

Indeed, this noble partnership between Compostela National High School and its esteemed private ally is more than a mere collaboration — it is a testament to the boundless possibilities that arise when vision, compassion, and innovation intertwine. In its unwavering pursuit of academic excellence and resilience, Compostela National High School (CNHS) has once again taken a bold step toward innovation and progress. Guided by a deep commitment to provide quality education to every learner, CNHS continues to seek ways to ensure that learning knows no bounds, not of time, place, nor circumstance. With steadfast dedication from its leadership and educators, the school has embraced a new chapter of opportunity, marked by a partnership that promises to uplift its community and sustain the light of knowledge even in the most trying times.

On June 24, 2025, as tremors shook Compostela National High School, students and teachers promptly exited their classrooms and gathered in designated safe zones. Despite the fear, they remained calm and followed emergency protocols. 🙏
The experience highlighted the life-saving power of preparedness — and how composure and solidarity can shine through even in the most uncertain times.

In a proactive effort to ensure disaster readiness, Compostela NHS students and faculty simulated a real seismic event—practicing the “Duck, Cover, and Hold” technique and executing a calm, orderly evacuation. The drill emphasized the importance of quick, coordinated responses and heightened awareness during emergencies, reinforcing the school’s commitment to building a culture of preparedness.

On June 17, 2025, students and teachers of Compostela National High School quickly evacuated their classrooms and gathered in open spaces. Fear and tension were in the air, but everyone stayed calm and followed safety protocols. 🙏

This moment reminded us all that preparedness saves lives — and that in times of uncertainty, unity and presence of mind matter most.

As School Year 2025–2026 approaches, Compostela National High School conducted its two-day Admission Test and Assessment on June 4–5 for incoming Grade 7 students applying to its Special Programs: STE, SPJ, SPA, and SPS.

Applicants from various elementary schools showcased their talents, skills, and potential through a series of specialized tests, interviews, and performance tasks. Each program provided a unique platform for learners to shine in their chosen fields—be it science, journalism, the arts, or sports.

We commend the courage and passion of every participant, and we look forward to welcoming the next generation of exceptional Nationalians!
