The iconic Philippine Terno Gala returned in full splendor to the Pacific Grand Ballroom of Waterfront Cebu City Hotel & Casino last June 28, bringing together the best of Filipino fashion, heritage, and creative brilliance.
Now on its third edition, the gala was masterfully led by Cebuโs own Cary Santiago, who redefined the terno with his bold, modern vision. Sharing the runway were top designers Edwin Ao, Jun Escario, and Protacio Empaces of Cebu, alongside Manilaโs Joey Samson and Jojie Lloren, each showcasing designs that blended innovation with deep cultural roots.
From heritage embroidery and piรฑa gowns to tuxedo-terno fusions and heartfelt tributes, every piece told a powerful Filipino story.
Co-presented by the Cultural Center of the Philippines and backed by the Cebu City Tourism Commission under Councilor Joy Pesquera, the event once again proved why Cebu is a true cultural and fashion capital.
With muses like Bea Zobel de Ayala Jr., Alice Eduardo, Mariquita Yeung, and Yedda Romualdez, and a pre-show spread of Cebuano cuisine, the night was a feast for all the senses.
The finale? A breathtaking, nature-inspired couture collection by Cary Santiagoโproof that the terno is not just timeless, but ever-evolving.
๐ค A night of artistry. A celebration of identity. 100% Cebu style.
