Kutawatu Go joined the 1st Bangsamoro Innovation Summit! 🚀

As one of the few youth-led tech-creative initiatives in the region, Kutawatu Go shared that the journey has not been easy. Limited resources, digital gaps, and the need for stronger innovation support remain real challenges.

That’s why we look forward to helping build a stronger innovation ecosystem in BARMM — one that invests in homegrown ideas, protects creators and inventors, nurtures curiosity and nontraditional learning, and celebrates Bangsamoro innovators as part of our cultural identity and pride.

We’re grateful to Ministry of Trade, Investments and Tourism - BARMM, for considering us to be part of this conversation. We’re excited for what lies ahead. ✨

Together, let’s build a Bangsamoro where creativity, technology, and culture move forward hand in hand.

At the 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗼 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁, this special panel will bring together thought leaders and practitioners to unpack how innovation, whether technological, policy-driven, or community-led can meaningfully respond to the unique challenges of the BARMM.

This conversation highlights how the Bangsamoro can harness relevant, locally grounded, and community-centered forms of innovation. This will not be limited to technology, but also innovation in governance, policy, and social systems to drive equitable development and long-lasting peace.

The Summit is in partnership with the Bangsamoro Planning and Development Authority (BPDA), in collaboration with Bangsamoro Agri-Enterprise Program (BAEP) – CRESCENT Project, implemented by the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP) and funded by the European Union (EU).

🎯 Kutawatu Go engaged with Stakeholders Consultation Meeting of the city tourism council!

During the activity, Kutawatu Go highlighted its efforts in promoting inclusive and sustainable cultural tourism through digital and creative innovation — including projects and publications exploring AR/VR virtual tourism and educational animation series that showcase Cotabato’s culture, sites, and stories.

Ideas were also shared on supporting local youth and creative professionals — envisioning the establishment of a Creative Hub, integrating a Comprehensive City Brand and Identity System into Cotabato City’s Tourism Development Plan, and introducing tech-powered cultural mapping to help strengthen the city’s tourism landscape.

Kutawatu Go envisions a Cotabato City that continues to grow through creativity, inclusivity, and technology. 💡

We’re proud to share that our research “Investigating the Effect of Mixed Reality Technology on Enhancing Virtual Tourism Experience” has been officially published in the American Journal of Innovation in Science and Engineering (AJISE). 🎉
