"Lailatul Isra Wal Mi'raj is one of the most significant nights in the Islamic calendar, commemorating the miraculous journey of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). On this blessed night, the Prophet (PBUH) was taken from the Ka'bah in Makkah to Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem (Isra), and from there, he ascended to the heavens (Mi'raj), where he was granted the gift of Salah (prayer) and came closer to Allah in a way beyond human understanding.

This event serves as a reminder of the importance of prayer, patience, and devotion, as well as the power of Allah's mercy. It teaches us about the strength of faith and the importance of maintaining a close connection with the Creator. On this sacred night, let us pray for guidance, peace, and forgiveness, and strive to deepen our connection with Allah.

Sampung Bayan sa BARMM at North Cotabato, Terrorist-Free Na

Isang makabuluhang tagumpay para sa kapayapaan—pagkatapos ng anim na buwan ng walang presensya at aktibidad ng mga terorista, sampung bayan sa Special Geographic Area (SGA), Maguindanao del Norte, at North Cotabato ay pormal nang idineklarang malaya sa Communist at Local Terrorist Group.

Sa eksklusibong panayam, ibinahagi ni Brigadier General Ricky Bunayog, Commander ng 602nd Brigade, ang mapagpalayang balita para sa mga residente ng mga bayang ito. Ang deklarasyong ito ay batay sa mga resolusyon na inilabas ng kani-kanilang Sangguniang Bayan, nagpapatunay sa tunay na katahimikan na naranasan ng mga komunidad.

Anim na bayan sa North Cotabato ang idineklarang CTG-free—Pigcawayan, Libungan, Midsayap, Banisilan, Alamada, at Aleosan. Samantala, apat na bayan naman ang malaya na sa Local Terrorist Group: Northern Kabuntalan sa Maguindanao del Norte, at tatlong bayan ng SGA, BARMM—Nabalawag, Kadayangan, at Pahamudin. Lahat ng mga bayang ito ay nasa area of responsibility ng 34th Infantry Battalion.

"Patuloy nating tiyatiyak ang focused military operations upang hindi na bumalik ang mga terorista sa mga lugar na ito," pahayag ni Bunayog. Binigyang-diin din niya ang malaking epekto nito sa economic development ng mga nasabing bayan, kung saan mas mapapabilis na ngayon ang pagdating ng mga programa at serbisyong pang-kabuhayan.

Pinasalamatan ng brigade commander ang mga partner line agencies na naging katuwang nila sa pagkamit ng sustainable peace sa mga komunidad. Ang kolektibong pagsisikap ng militar, lokal na pamahalaan, at mga mamamayan ay naging susi sa makasaysayang tagumpay na ito.

10 Armas, Kusang-Loob na Isinuko ng mga Lider sa Basilan

Isang makabuluhang hakbang tungo sa kapayapaan at seguridad ang naitala sa Basilan nang kusang-loob na isuko ng mga barangay chairperson mula sa Hadji Mohammad Ajul Municipality ang sampung (10) loose high-powered fi****ms sa 18th Infantry (Deo Et Patria) Battalion nitong Enero 9, 2026.

Ginanap ang seremonya sa headquarters ng 18IB sa Brgy Campo Uno, Lamitan City, Basilan—isang patunay ng dedikasyon ng mga lokal na lider na makipagtulungan sa pamahalaan upang sugpuin ang pagkalat ng mga ilegal na sandata at lumikha ng mas ligtas na kapaligiran para sa kanilang mga constituents.

Ayon kay CPT Zaldy Mark Encina, Company Commander ng Charlie Company 18IB, 11ID, PA, bunga ng patuloy na kampanya ng kanilang yunit laban sa loose fi****ms at koneksyon sa Small Arms and Light Weapons (SALW) Program ang boluntaryong pagsuko ng mga barangay officials.

"Pinupuri namin ang mga barangay chairperson ng Hadji Mohammad Ajul Municipality sa kanilang proactive approach sa pagtataguyod ng kapayapaan at seguridad. Ang kanilang voluntary surrender ng mga loose fi****ms na ito ay nagpapakita ng kanilang commitment na makipagtulungan sa 18IB upang lumikha ng mas ligtas na kapaligiran para sa kanilang mga constituents," pahayag ni LTC Anthony Caro, commanding officer ng battalion.

Dagdag pa niya, ang nasabing pagsuko ay testamento sa kapangyarihan ng kolaborasyon at ang sama-samang pagnanais para sa pangmatagalang kapayapaan.

Patuloy na nakikipagtulungan ang 18th Infantry Battalion sa mga local government units at community stakeholders upang tugunan ang isyu ng loose fi****ms at lumikha ng mas secure at stable na kapaligiran sa Basilan. Ang inisyatiba ng mga barangay chairperson ay nagpapakita na ang tunay na pagbabago ay nagsisimula sa mga lider na handang magserbisyo at magsakripisyo para sa kabutihan ng nakararami. | Infantry (Deo et Patria) Battalion
