Korte Suprema, Pinatigil ang Bangsamoro Redistricting Law
Naglabas ng TRO ang Korte Suprema laban sa pagpapatupad ng BAA 77 o Bangsamoro Parliamentary Redistricting Act of 2025. Ipinagbawal nito ang COMELEC at Bangsamoro Transition Authority na ipatupad ang batas na nagreredistrito ng mga lugar sa BARMM habang nasa gitna ng election period. Binigyan ng limang araw ang COMELEC at BTA para magsumite ng paliwanag. Nakatakda pa ring idaos ang unang halalan sa parlamento ng BARMM sa Oktubre 13, 2025.

Nagkaroon ng tinig ang mga kababaihang Bangsamoro sa pinakamalaking peace and security forum sa Timog-Silangang Asya matapos dumalo si Baisanie Amella, National Chairwoman ng United Youth for Peace and Development (UNYPAD) Women Affairs Committee, sa 2025 ASEAN Women, Peace and Security (WPS) Summit sa Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Si Amella ang nag-iisang kinatawan mula sa civil society ng Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) sa biennial summit na dinaluhan ng mga kasaping estado ng ASEAN, mga organisasyong sibil, ahensya ng UN, at mga pandaigdigang katuwang upang palakasin ang pamumuno ng kababaihan sa pagpigil ng sigalot at pagtataguyod ng kapayapaan.

Ang pagtitipon, na pinangasiwaan ng Malaysia bilang ASEAN Chair kasama ang suporta ng UN Women at mga international partners, ay ginanap kasabay ng ika-25 anibersaryo ng UN Security Council Resolution 1325 at ika-30 anibersaryo ng Beijing Platform for Action.

Binigyang-diin ni Amella ang kahalagahan na mapakinggan ang boses ng mga kababaihang Bangsamoro sa paggawa ng polisiya sa rehiyon, at iginiit na ang kanilang karanasan sa mga lugar na naapektuhan ng sigalot ay dapat maging bahagi ng ASEAN Vision 2045.

Mga Bangsamoro, Nagpiket sa Harap ng Kongreso laban sa OPPAPRU at kay Sec. Galvez

Quezon City โ€“ Nagdaos ng kilos-protesta ang ilang mga kasapi ng Bangsamoro sa harap ng House of Representatives nitong Lunes, Setyembre 8, 2025. Kanilang ipinanawagan ang imbestigasyon ng Senado at Kamara laban sa umanoโ€™y katiwalian sa Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation and Unity (OPAPRU).

Bitbit ng mga nagprotesta ang mga plakard na may nakasulat na: โ€œAudit OPAPRU Now!โ€, โ€œSenate and HOR should investigate corruption in the OPAPRU!โ€, at โ€œPBBM, remove Galvez now!โ€

Mariin ding iginiit ng mga lumahok na tigilan ng OPAPRU ang umanoโ€™y unilateral na pagpapatupad ng mga probisyon ng kasunduan sa kapayapaan at huwag makialam sa internal na usapin ng Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).

Ayon sa kanila, nais nilang maramdaman ang tunay na diwa ng awtonomiya ng rehiyon at nananawagan sila kay Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. na kumilos ukol sa kanilang hinaing.

TPMT: Bangsamoro peace process nanganganib, tiwala dapat ibalik bago ang halalan

Nagpahayag ng babala ang Third Party Monitoring Team (TPMT) hinggil sa kinabukasan ng Bangsamoro peace process matapos bumaba ang tiwala sa pagitan ng Gobyerno ng Pilipinas at Moro Islamic Liberation Front (M**F).
Ayon sa ulat ng TPMT, nakaapekto sa usaping pangkapayapaan ang biglaang pagpapalit ng pamunuan sa Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) at ang pagsuspinde ng proseso ng decommissioning.
Giit ng TPMT, mahalagang muling pagtibayin ng dalawang panig ang kanilang tiwala at paninindigan sa pagpapatupad ng Comprehensive Agreement on the Bangsamoro (CAB). Ito ay itinuturing na kritikal laloโ€™t nalalapit na ang kauna-unahang halalan ng BARMM sa Oktubre 13, 2025.

Tilagad sa LBO: UNYPAD Hosts Monthly Breakfast Forum

The League of Bangsamoro Organizations (LBO) held its monthly Tilagad sa LBO (Breakfast at LBO) today, hosted by the United Youth for Peace and Development (UNYPAD).

The United Youth for Peace and Development (UNYPAD), led by its President Dr. Rahib L. Kudto, actively participated in the event together with members of the Executive Council, national officers, and the UNYPAD Cotabato City Chapter. Dr. Kudto also served as one of the Panel of Reactors for the forum.

The sessionโ€™s keynote lecture was delivered by Sheikh Abdulkahar Musa on the thought-provoking theme: โ€œThe Philippine and Islamic Political System: Irreconcilable?โ€ The discussion sparked meaningful exchanges among the participants, further strengthening the commitment of LBO member-organizations to dialogue, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing. UNYPAD President Dr. Rahib L. Kudto Shares Insights at Consultation on CSO Empowerment Act of 2025

Davao City โ€“ August 21, 2025. The United Youth for Peace and Development (UNYPAD) took part in the Final Consultation with CSO and Sectoral Leaders on the Bangsamoro Civil Society Organizationsโ€™ Engagement and Empowerment Act of 2025, held at Bajada Suites, Davao City.

The measure, principally authored by MP Abdulbasit โ€œBobbyโ€ Benito, MPSA, aims to institutionalize civil society participation in governance within the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).

UNYPAD President Dr. Rahib L. Kudto delivered words of wisdom during the consultation, highlighting the essential role of CSOs in amplifying grassroots voices and ensuring inclusive and participatory governance. He stressed the importance of unity and sustained engagement of civil society in advancing peace and development in the Bangsamoro.

Iqbal Nanawagan ng Tapat na Pagpapatupad ng CAB at Malinis na Halalan sa BangsamoroDavao City โ€“

Nanawagan si Moro Islamic Liberation Front (M**F) Peace Implementing Panel Chair Mohagher Iqbal sa lahat ng stakeholders na tiyaking ganap na maipapatupad ang Comprehensive Agreement on the Bangsamoro (CAB) at mapanatili ang tiwala sa proseso ng kapayapaan, sa kanyang talumpati sa Titayan 2 Conference noong Agosto 19, 2025 sa Acacia Hotel, Davao City.

Sa harap ng ibaโ€™t ibang sektor, ipinunto ni Iqbal ang apat na mahahalagang usapin:

1. Komitment ng M**F sa Kapayapaan. Iginiit niya na nananatiling tapat ang M**F sa pagpapatupad ng CAB at hindi nito tatanggapin ang โ€œhalf-bakedโ€ o minadaling implementasyon. Binigyang-diin din niya ang kahalagahan ng patas na pagtutulungan ng gobyerno at M**F upang maisakatuparan ang mga nakasaad sa kasunduan.

2. Isyu ng โ€œRegime Changeโ€ sa BARMM. Mariing tinuligsa ni Iqbal ang umanoโ€™y pagpapalit ng liderato ng Bangsamoro Transition Authority (BTA) nang walang konsultasyon sa M**F. Ayon sa kanya, ang pagtatalaga kay Abdulraof Macacua bilang Chief Minister kapalit ni Al Hajj Murad Ebrahim ay paglabag sa probisyon ng CAB at Bangsamoro Organic Law na nagsasabing dapat M**F-led ang BTA.

3. Suspensyon ng Final Phase ng Decommissioning. Ipinaliwanag ni Iqbal na ipinahinto ng M**F ang huling yugto ng decommissioning dahil hindi natutupad ng gobyerno ang iba pang kasunduan tulad ng amnestiya, camp transformation, socio-economic packages, at transitional justice. Binigyang-diin niya na ang unilateral na hakbang ng gobyerno ay nagpapahina sa tiwala sa peace process.

4. Pananaw sa Halalan sa Oktubre.
Sa nalalapit na parliamentary election sa Oktubre 13, 2025, nanawagan si Iqbal ng malinis, tapat at mapayapang halalan. Aminado siya na hamon para sa United Bangsamoro Justice Party (UBJP) ang pakikipagsabayan sa mga tradisyunal na pulitiko, ngunit tiniyak niya na handa ang M**F na tanggapin ang pasya ng taumbayan.โ€œAt stake here is not only the continuity of the peace process but also the preservation of the institutional and political reforms that we have already established in the Bangsamoro homeland,โ€ ani Iqbal.

CSO Mass Action in Cotabato City Urges Govโ€™t to Fully Implement Peace Agreements
