𝐀𝐑𝐏𝐂𝐈 𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐆𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐍𝐒 𝐒𝐓𝐔𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐏 𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐆𝐇 𝐒𝐄𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐑 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐊𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐏
September 12, 2026 | A.R. Pacheco College, Inc. (ARPCI) strengthened its commitment to developing responsible student leaders through the Student Leaders’ Seminar and Workshop 2026, held at the Anchor Review Center and organized by the 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 (𝐒𝐒𝐂) under the theme,"𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐄𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩: 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞, 𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭."
The seminar gathered officers from various student organizations, together with their advisers, for a day of learning, reflection, and leadership development.
It emphasized that leadership goes beyond holding a position and requires responsibility, integrity, humility, and a genuine willingness to serve others.
The program opened with a prayer and the singing of the Philippine National Anthem, followed by the BARMM Hymn, Cotabato Hymn, and Pacheco Hymn.
The Program was held under the leadership and continued support of 𝐃𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐓𝐎 𝐓. 𝐏𝐀𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐂𝐎, 𝐌𝐈𝐓, School President, and 𝐃𝐑. 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐀 𝐓. 𝐏𝐀𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐂𝐎, School Directress, whose leadership and support continue to encourage student development and organizational initiatives at ARPCI.
Ma'am 𝐀𝐏𝐈𝐏𝐀 𝐌. 𝐌𝐀𝐔𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐀, 𝐌𝐈𝐄, 𝐌𝐀𝐄𝐝., College Head, then delivered the opening message, setting the tone for the leadership-focused activity.
𝐔𝐙-𝐙𝐀𝐈𝐑 𝐆. 𝐄𝐒𝐇𝐀𝐊, SSC President, introduced the resource speaker, 𝐌𝐎𝐇𝐀𝐌𝐌𝐀𝐃 𝐆. 𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐏, 𝐋𝐏𝐓, 𝐌𝐀𝐄𝐝., who delivered the main lecture on the Ethos of Leadership. He highlighted the distinction between authority, position, and title, emphasizing that genuine leadership is defined not by the power of a position, but by how responsibly and meaningfully it is exercised.
Among the key lessons discussed were the importance of listening to others, being open to criticism, accepting correction, remaining humble, and taking responsibility. The seminar reinforced the idea that leadership begins with the person behind the title and is reflected through one's character and actions.
The learning continued through an open forum between the student leaders and the resource speaker, giving participants an opportunity to raise questions and share experiences. This was followed by a workshop where the officers reflected on the leadership lessons and applied them to their own experiences and responsibilities as student leaders.
𝐅𝐂𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏 𝐑𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋𝐃 𝐀𝐋𝐈 𝐀𝐌𝐏𝐀𝐍𝐆 also shared meaningful insights with the student leaders, offering another perspective on leadership, responsibility, and the importance of serving others.
Also providing guidance throughout the initiative was 𝐒𝐈𝐓𝐓𝐈𝐄 𝐇𝐀𝐘𝐀𝐍𝐄𝐄 𝐌𝐀𝐔𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐀, 𝐌𝐏𝐀, 𝐂𝐒𝐄, SSC Adviser, together with the advisers of the various student organizations who accompanied and supported their respective officers.
The seminar concluded with the presentation of certificates to the resource speaker and participating student leaders in recognition of their participation in the leadership development activity. The event was followed by lunch with the resource speaker and advisers, providing an opportunity for further interaction and fellowship.
Through continued leadership development, ARPCI seeks to cultivate student leaders who lead with purpose, uphold integrity, accept responsibility, and recognize leadership as an opportunity to serve.
