Sometimes, the loudest symphony resonates from within. In the hushed spaces between words, where the clamor of the world fades away, a profound peace takes root. It's a peace woven from the whispers of your soul, the gentle dance of your breath, the quiet hum of existence itself.

In this silence, you are not empty, but full. Full of the echoes of dreams yet to bloom, the wisdom whispered by ancient stars, the melody of a heart beating true. It's a space where anxieties soften, worries melt away, and the truest version of yourself emerges, bathed in the gentle light of acceptance.

Embrace the silence, don't fear it. Let it be the cradle for your thoughts, the canvas for your dreams, the balm for your weary spirit. Listen to the stories your heart tells, the whispers of intuition guiding your way. In the quiet corners of your being, lies a wellspring of peace, waiting to be discovered.

I'm missing my students at Kapatagan National High School today. I love seeing their creativity and talent shine through in their art projects. I can't wait to see what they accomplish in the future!

ENTRY #2- B: Pandanggo Sa Ilaw
Performed by: Grade 12 Aristotle

Pandanggo sa Ilaw is a Filipino folk dance that originated from the island of Mindoro. It is a waltz-style dance that simulates fireflies at dusk or dawn. The dancers balance three tinggoy, or oil lamps, on their heads and at the backs of their hands. The dance is characterized by its graceful movements and intricate footwork. It is a challenging dance that requires a great deal of balance and coordination.

Pandanggo sa Ilaw is often performed at festivals and cultural events. It is also a popular dance for weddings and other special occasions. The dance is a symbol of Filipino culture and heritage. It is a beautiful and graceful dance that showcases the skills and artistry of Filipino dancers

Pandanggo sa Ilaw is a challenging dance, but it is also a beautiful and graceful dance that is a source of pride for Filipinos.

I'm reminiscing the time I was with my students at Kapatagan National High School. They were such a talented and creative bunch, and I'm so proud of the work they did on their art projects. I miss them so much!

ENTRY #1- B: Sa Ugoy ng Duyan" (English: "The Sway of the Baby Hammock")
Performed by: Grade 12 Aristotle

It is a Filipino lullaby composed by Lucio San Pedro and with lyrics by Levi Celerio. It is a popular song in the Philippines and has been interpreted and recorded by various Filipino artists.

The song is about a child who longs for the comfort and love of their mother. The lyrics describe the child's happy childhood memories of being rocked to sleep in their mother's arms. The child also remembers their mother's lullaby, which they view as a song of love and protection.

The song is written in the first-person point of view and has two stanzas, with four lines each. The first stanza expresses the child's wish that their childhood and their memories of their mother will never fade. They also want to hear their mother's song again, which they view to be a song of love.

The second stanza describes the child's sleep to be peaceful while stars watch and guard them. For them, their life becomes like heaven whenever their mother sings them her lullaby. Finally, they reveal the reason for their longing: They are enduring some hardship, which is why they crave their mother's lullaby.

The song is a beautiful and moving tribute to the love between a mother and child. It is a song that can bring comfort and peace to anyone who hears it.

A year has passed since our educator's night, but the memories of that night will last a lifetime. Here's a video of me walking in the pageant, celebrating the amazing things that we do as educators. 💙

Life is a journey, not a destination.

It's about the experiences we have along the way, not just the end result. It's about learning and growing, not just about achieving goals. It's about making mistakes and learning from them, not just about avoiding them. It's about connecting with others and building relationships, not just about being successful. It's about finding your purpose and living your life to the fullest, not just about checking off boxes on a list. So don't be afraid to take risks, to step outside of your comfort zone, and to try new things. Don't be afraid to make mistakes, because they are a part of the learning process. And don't be afraid to connect with others, because they are the ones who will help you along the way.

Life is a journey, and it's up to you to make it the best one possible. So enjoy the ride!
