MY POV: Sana darating ang point na magkaisa na ang Bangsamoro. Paano natin makakamit ang habangbuhay na kapayapaan at paano natin mapaunlad ang lupang tinubuan kung watak-watak ang Bangsamoro?

Honestly speaking, may kamag-anak ako na nakasama sa rally last Monday at may mga kamag-anak din akong nasama sa rally ngayon. Ibig sabihin, hati ang Bangsamoro, hindi nagkakaisa.

Binigyan tayo ng kalayaan upang magkaroon ng gobyerno, ngunit ito ba ang hinahangad natin, ang pagkakaiba-iba ng ipinaglalaban? Dati-rati, nagkaisa ang Bangsamoro na hingin sa gobyerno ang autonomy sa lugar natin. Pero bakit ngayon, bakit nahahati na sa dalawa o tatlo ang dati ay iisa?

In Shaa Allah, bigyan ng Nur ang ating mga lider na magkaisa, upang ang ating ipinaglalaban ay magbunga ng kaunlaran, kahinahunan, at habangbuhay na kapayapaan. Nawa’y maging daan ang pagkakaisa upang ang saloobin naming nasa ibaba ay maramdaman ang tunay na pagbabago. Kung matagumpay ang nasa itaas, nagiging payapa ang aming mga puso at komunidad.

At higit sa lahat, wag ninyong ipagwalang bahala ang aming mga benepisyo at sahod, ito ay tanda na kami ay may karapatan at karapat-dapat na mabigyan ng makatarungan at disenteng serbisyo.

Magsama-sama tayo sa panalangin at pagkilos, upang ang ating adhikain ay magtagumpay at magdulot ng liwanag, pag-asa, at tunay na pagbabago. Shukran. Mabuhay ang Bangsamoro!

The people in the image are:

Natalie Samantha Rupnow – a 15-year-old student who carried out the shooting at Abundant Life Christian School in Wisconsin in December 2024 before dying from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Eric Harris – one of the two perpetrators of the 1999 Columbine High School massacre in Colorado.

What is the logo on their shirts?

The logo is KMFDM, a German industrial rock band formed in 1984. The band's music is known for industrial rock/metal sounds and lyrics that often criticize war, oppression, and violence.

Why are people comparing these two photos?

Natalie Rupnow was photographed wearing a KMFDM shirt very similar to one worn by Eric Harris. After the Wisconsin shooting, many people noticed the similarity and speculated about a possible Columbine influence. Investigators and commentators discussed whether the shirt reflected an interest in the Columbine shooters rather than the band itself.

Was KMFDM responsible or connected to the shootings?

No. There is no evidence that KMFDM encouraged or promoted the attacks. In fact, the band has publicly stated that their music opposes war, fascism, oppression, and violence. After both Columbine and the Wisconsin shooting, the band rejected any association with the crimes.
