🧹 Walang Katapusan na Gawain

Pagkagising palang, may pila na agad sa utak mo—labahin, lutuin, linisin, ulitin. Unlike a regular job, walang clock-in/clock-out. A mom is “on duty” 24/7 — parang live-in maid na walang rest day.

🍽️ You always serve for everyone, but no one serve you

Parang ikaw na ang cook, cleaner, driver, tutor, nurse… pero walang title o sweldo. Lahat ng ginagawa mo ay para sa ibang tao — anak, asawa, bahay. Kaya parang nawawala na ’yung sense of identity mo.

🧠 Invisible Labor

Kapag maayos ang bahay, walang napapansin. Pero isang kalat lang, nakukwestyon agad ang pagiging Nanay mo.
Moms do a lot of physical and mental labor — meal planning, appointments, bills, emotional support — pero madalas hindi siya nakikita or nabibigyan ng appreciation.

😔 Lack of Appreciation

May mas maganda pang thank you ang rider kaysa sa asawa ko. Housemaids get salary and sometimes day-off. Moms? Walang break, walang sweldo, minsan walang “thank you.”

💔 Loss of Respect for the Role

Kapag sinabi mong housewife, parang ang tingin ng iba ‘wala kang ginagawa’. The title “housewife” used to carry pride. Ngayon, parang walang halaga sa ibang tao — kaya moms feel the only thing they do is clean, cook, and serve.

💬 Because we, women raised to become a “martyr”

Tiis lang. Basta para sa pamilya. Maraming moms grew up seeing their own mothers do everything. So akala nila, ganun talaga. Pero pag napagod sila, parang may guilt pa. 😢

Kaya don’t forget to set bounderies, you’re a mom, you are the CEO of your home, hindi ka MAID.
