The Department of Forestry, College of Forestry and Environmental Studies (CFES) conducted the scheduled interviews starting today, July 21, 2025, at the CFES Audio-Visual Room (AVR), Mindanao State University, Marawi City for qualified freshmen applicants seeking admission into the Bachelor of Science in Forestry and Bachelor of Science in Forestry major in Agroforestry programs.

Final results and the list of admitted students will be announced soon through the official page of the college.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | Forestry Department administers Qualifying Exam for Freshmen

The Department of Forestry conducted its qualifying examination for incoming freshmen today, July 17, 2025, at 10:00 AM in the College of Forestry and Environmental Studies (CFES) building, Mindanao State University, Marawi City.

A total of 288 aspiring forestry students confirmed their participation via email, and only 203 took the exam. The interview will follow after the release of the exam results.

Arbor Day is celebrated every June 25th in the Philippines. It’s all about re-greening. According to Proclamation No. 643 (amending Proclamation No. 396, s. 2003) government agencies, private sector, schools, civil society and citizens must participate in tree planting activities, and ensuring the trees are all happy, healthy, and growing to be as strong as they possibly can be. The day encourages everyone to get involved in environmental activities.

Today, June 22, is World Rainforest Day, a reminder of our rainforests, literally "the lungs of the Earth". May we 𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗼𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗮 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲, not just today but for as long as we still are breathing.
