The Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office V β Bicol Region β Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program through the Provincial Operations Office of Camarines Norte paid a courtesy call to the Office of the Governor of the said province in order to advance strategies and policy initiatives in support to the 4Ps.
Key discussions include the presentation of the Executive Briefer on the 2026-2028 Strategic Directions of the 4Ps in the Province of Camarines Norte; reorganization of the Provincial Advisory Council (PAC) into the Provincial Poverty Alleviation Council (PPAC); establishment of systematic reporting mechanisms for served 4Ps beneficiaries by provincial government offices; institutionalization of expanded post-program benefits for graduating and graduated 4Ps households; prohibition of using 4Ps cash cards and documents as collateral for loans; and the creation of Provincial and Municipal Multi-Disciplinary Teams (MDTs) to collectively address barriers affecting special cases and survivors among 4Ps beneficiaries.
The said convergence highlights the continuing efforts of DSWD Bicol headed by Regional Director Norman S. Laurio and its LGU counterparts in strengthening social protection initiatives for Pantawid families.
