On July 16, 1990, a devastating 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck North and Central Luzon, impacting over 1.5 million people.

It remains among the deadliest and most powerful earthquakes in Philippine history, and one of the largest seismic events ever recorded worldwide.

Aktibo pa sa serbisyo ang 13 sa 18 pulis na isinasangkot sa kaso ng mga nawawalang sabungero.

Ito ang inihayag ni National Police Commission vice chairperson Rafael Calinisan, matapos sampahan ng reklamo ng testigong si Julie “Dondon” Patidongan (alias Totoy) ang 18 pulis habang 5 naman ang na-dismiss na sa serbisyo.

Sinabi ni Calinisan na nire-review na nila ang reklamo ni alyas Totoy.

Tumanggi naman ang opisyal na sagutin ang tanong kung gaano kalalim ang partisipasyon ng mga pulis.

Sinabi ni Calinisan na maglalabas sila ng kautusan at ipatatawag ang mga isinasangkot na pulis para makuha ang kanilang panig.

Pinabulaanan ng Commission on Elections (COMELEC) ang umano’y mga iregularidad sa Eleksyon 2025 na pinaiimbestigahan sa National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).

Matatandaang kinuwestiyon ng Alyansa ng Nagkakaisang Mamamayan at Church Leaders Council For National Transformation ang umano’y ibang source code na ginamit sa eleksyon, gayundin ang umano’y pagkakaroon ng data center 3.

Ayon kay COMELEC chairman George Erwin Garcia, mismong parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) na ang magpapatunay na hindi totoo ang alegasyon kaugnay ng pagpapalit umano ng source code.

Nagbigay din aniya ng sertipikasyon ang technical evaluation committee na maayos at handa ang automated election system alinsunod sa batas.

Tugma rin ang resulta ng eleksiyon batay sa isinagawang final random manual audit.
