About the curation

Love is everywhere. It is in the choices we make, the sacrifices we give, and the connections we hold close. Sometimes, love means holding on. Other times, it means letting go. It can be loud and certain or quiet and unspoken. It can lift, break, heal, or change us.

Sine Aro is a space to see love in different ways, to feel its weight and its wonder. Through stories captured on screen, we ask: How far can love go? What can love do?

These films are not just about love. They are about what love makes us do.

Stay tuned as we unveil curated short films. Catch the next post for more details!

Stories don’t always need words—sometimes a photo says it all. 📸

But not everyone knows how to capture a story in a single shot.

Don’t worry! Secure your spot at Art Tí La and discover the art of storytelling through photos with Engr. Ronzbell Lawan on February 9, 2025, at 5 PM via Zoom.

Leading the Conversation

Ronzbell E. Lawan is an emerging cinematographer and filmmaker from the humble province of Pangasinan, Philippines. Although an introvert, he is driven by a desire to tell compelling and worth-sharing stories. His creative journey in photography started in the year 2017 when he got his first Android mobile phone, which eventually led to his love for filmmaking. In 2022, he became the cinematographer in a short film Ilalon Ag Nibalikas (Unspoken Hope), a documentary short about the story of a special education teacher which gained awards locally and internationally. In the following year, he also became a cinematographer in a creative documentary Sketsa na Dagupan (Sketch of Dagupan) which premiered in 2024 at the Motañosa Film Festival in Baguio City.
