HAPPY WORLD TEACHERS' DAY!

"Everyday is a Teachersโ€™ Day"

The time has arrived to treasure and express our heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated teachers of St. John's Cathedral School, Incorporated. Last October 6, 2025 โ€” the program for Teachers' Day celebration was held at Main Quadrangle, with the presence of our beloved School Director Rev. Msgr. Manuel S. Bravo, Jr. together with our High School Principal Mrs. Rufina E. Prado, along with our Elementary Principal Mrs. Maricita Jacoba. The event was hosted by Sir Jonathan Abagat.

The program began with a Rosary prayer led by Supreme Student Government, followed by the singing of National Anthem conducted by The Boy Scout of the Philippines, and lastly, the singing of our School Hymn. Our School Director Rev. Msgr. Manuel S. Bravo, Jr. started the program proper with pearls of gratitude message to our committed teachers. With an opening performance from P.A.G. dancers. Afterwards, the serenade for the Junior High School Teachers; A Million Dreams, Non-Advisers; MAPA, Elementary Teachers; Glowing Inside and performance of S.P.G. dancers, Grade 11 Advisers; Count On Me, and Grade 12 Advisers; Salamat, was showcased to recognize their perseverance and resilience in teaching students', with a short appreciation message from Mrs. Rufina E. Prado and Mrs. Maricita Jacoba. The program ended with a unity dance performed by P.A.G. dancers and the continuation of celebration of Teachers' Day took place in the classrooms.

To our beloved teachers, thank you for being the pillars of knowledge and compassion that shape our future. Your dedication has a big impact to what we are now. You are our Hero โ€” helping us in every circumstances and the light of our darkness.

โ€œYou are not just teachers, you are teachers of Christ. You are not just workers, you are workers of Christ. And you are being sent to be teachers of the children, and the children are Christ.โ€

Most Reverend Socrates B. Villegas, D.D. greets our God-sent educators a Happy Teachersโ€™ Day. Reminding them of the important role theyโ€™re playing in forming Christ in the lives of our youth. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป

The essence of being a teacher is indeed not merely measured by how well you teach inside the classroom, it is how you ignite faith within the children, being a light that guides them towards what matters most, Christ. Teachers, you are indeed Godโ€™s gifts, and you are all well loved by the church. Again, Happy Teachersโ€™ Day! โœจ

Greetings from His Excellency, Most Rev. Socrates B. Villegas, D.D., O.P.

๐ŸŒธ
