Kita naman kung anong klaseng volume ng motorsiklo meron tayo...

Pero, hindi yun ang priotiy...

Ang priroty pa rin ay yung mga naka 4 wheels kesehodang nag iisa lang sila sa loob...

Sa ibang bansa, gumagamit sila ng tinatawag na diamon lane na may designated entry and exit points para sa mga sasakyan na may sakay na 2 o higit pa at SHARED sa mga naka motorsiklo...

Ergo, no flow disruption...

Kasi ang nag papa traffic ay yung mga pumapasok at lumalabas ng EDSA pero nasa maling lane o sa dulo sisingit... YAN ANG DAPAT HINUHULI...

Pero kung titignan mo, ginagamit na FUNNEL ang MC Lane para sa oras na lumabas ka dito, HULI ka agad... Pero yung mga naiipit sa MC lane sa pag tawid nito upang makalabas or makapasok sa kalsada, tulad ng nangyayari sa commonwealth, napaka linient nila...

The MC lane does not even serve its intended purpose...

And the NCAP is where they take advantage of the volume, bottleneck, and funnel that forces others to get into a violation...

Its not helping the flow of traffic kasi may GREAT WALL OF MC's na tinatawid ang ibang sasakyan...

I just want to start a discussion about what I experienced this morning.

I (M29) booked a maxim (Angkas) from Home (Manibaug Porac) to Work (Clark) kase late ako nagising at para hindi ako malate sa work. Nung palabas na kame ng subdivion gate, pinahinto kame ng mga tricycle drivers from the TODA and said na bawal ang maxim sa subdivision namen sa kadahilanan na wala na daw silang kita. Gusto pa nila akong bumaba ng motor.

I stood my ground and ask them kung bakit bawal? Asan ang city ordinance or HOA memorandum na bawal? Wala sila mapakita. They argued na "puyat at wala na daw silang kita" and to them I said "Edi matulog kayo". I know my answer is sarcastic pero pati pa ba puyat nila, kailangan ko pang problemahin? Also bastos din sila telling me na "Hindi ikaw ang kausap ko". Pero sumasagot parin ako kase kawawa naman si kuya rider na walang ka alam alam dahil ako nag book at pinunthan lang ako para i pickup. The tricycle drivers even took a picture of the motors palte number and told us na "ipapabarangay kita", which kuya rider replied "sige sir, oks lang". I even asked them "kaya niyo bang ibigay ng 1** pesos yung singil niyo mula dito hangang clark?" to which they did not responsd.

The guards of my subdivision also came and what surprised me was that they sided with the tricycle drivers. Like hello? I am a house owner of the subdivision and the tricycled drivers are "in a way" harassing me. The guards should protect me from them and not the other way around. One of the guards even started to take a video of me and kuya rider, which I am okay with because it's his right since we are in a public setting.

Since it was getting already out of hand and I was getting late for work, I started to de-escalate the situation by telling everyone that I did not know that there was a rule in place that Maxim drivers are not allowed in our subdivision and that I will not book again. They let us through and I arrived to work safely. Next time that I need to book a Maxim, I will take a short walk so that the tricycle drivers won't see me and then book a Maxim.

I know that the franchise of maxim is just delivery and it is wrong to book them as angkas rider. But the way tricycle drivers overprice their fares here in Pampanga is just out of logic. They have a fare matrix that they do not even follow and even do not post on their tricycles anymore. If they want us commuters to avail of their tricycle services, they should improve their service and ask for fair prices from the commuters. I hope that angkas, joy ride or other motorcycle taxi companies will be available in Pampanga soon para legit na and franchise ng mga riders as motorcycle taxi.
