𝗖𝗖𝗢𝗣: 𝗔𝘁 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝗲!

During the 𝗖𝗖𝗢𝗣 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴, the cadets have also practiced having 𝗲𝗻𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀, 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀, not only vigorous trainings but also cultivation of their mind, spirit, and interpersonal skills. These activities deliberately 𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘁𝘀, recognizing that the most effective and resilient leaders are those who are holistically developed. Enrichment, religious calls, and ember exchange serve as a crucial counterpoint to the physical demands of the program, providing cadets with opportunities for reflection, collaboration, and personal growth, ultimately preparing them to lead with both strength and wisdom.

𝗠𝗠𝗠𝗔 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗱𝘀 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱–𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

The MOL Magsaysay Maritime Academy officially started the 2025–2026 academic year with the 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗿𝘀 held on 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟰, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, at the MMMA Gymnasium.

The formal opening of the school year brings together the entire MMMA community to demonstrate unity, discipline, and pride. In his inspiring speech, 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝘆 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗗𝗿. 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗲𝗹 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀 warmly welcomed back the 2nd-year and 3rd-year cadets as they took another step on their journey to becoming maritime professionals. He also greeted the 1st-year cadets, who were officially recognized as new members of the fleet. The morning colors set a positive tone for the new school year, reminding cadets of MMMA’s values as they embark on another year of learning.

Today marks the comeback of cadets and a sign that the vacation has come to an end. As the new academic year begins, it will give the cadets a chance to learn new things and grow, bringing them one step closer to their ultimate goal of becoming seafarers—one day at a time.

𝗠𝗠𝗠𝗔 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟭𝟱𝘁𝗵 𝗙𝗔𝗠𝗘 𝗙𝘂𝗻 𝗥𝘂𝗻

On June 21, 2025, the MMMA proudly took part in the 𝟏𝟓𝐭𝐡 𝐅𝐀𝐌𝐄 𝐅𝐮𝐧 𝐑𝐮𝐧 held at the Liwasang Ulalim, CCP Complex, Pasay City, Philippines. This annual event, organized by the 𝙁𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙤 𝘼𝙨𝙨𝙤𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙨’ 𝙀𝙢𝙥𝙡𝙤𝙮𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 (𝙁𝘼𝙈𝙀), 𝙄𝙣𝙘., brought together participants from various maritime institutions and companies to promote physical fitness, unity, and professional camaraderie within the maritime sector.

Representing the Academy were MMMA cadets, formation officers, instructors, and staff, led by the Academy President, whose active presence underscored MMMA’s unwavering commitment to holistic development and community engagement. Beyond participation, they celebrated excellence on the track, many of its representatives secured podium finishes, a testament to their discipline, endurance, and competitive spirit.

The Academy’s involvement in this meaningful event reflects its dedication to fostering wellness, teamwork, and resilience among its members. MMMA extends its sincere gratitude to FAME, Inc. for this valuable initiative and reaffirms its full support for endeavors that strengthen collaboration and solidarity within the maritime industry.

𝗥𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴: 𝗖𝗖𝗢𝗣 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟳 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗿𝘀

On the morning of 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟭𝟰, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, the gymnasium of MOL Magsaysay Maritime Academy (MMMA) became a place of pride and reflection as the Cadet Candidate Orientation Program Batch 2025 stood firm during their 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆. Graced by MMMA President Dr. Michael C. Morales, formation officers, and CCOP trainers, the gathering marked a key moment in the cadets' month-long journey of transformation.

In his inspirational address, 𝗗𝗿. 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀 commended the effort, resilience, and discipline of the cadet candidates as they completed Day 7 of their training. Echoing his own experience as a young cadet, he posed a powerful question “𝗗𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝗰𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘁?” to which the resounding “𝗬𝗘𝗦” from the candidates 𝘀𝘆𝗺𝗯𝗼𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘄𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵. His message reminded all present that 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱, 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗮 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲.

The ceremony not only celebrated the cadets’ physical and mental perseverance, but also acknowledged the relentless guidance of their trainers and the courage of the CCs in embracing the path toward becoming full-fledged MMMA cadets. It was a morning of pride, progress, and a reminder that transformation is built through excellence, discipline, and service.

On the 𝟳𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, the MOL Magsaysay Maritime Academy opens its gates and welcomes its new batch of 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱. With hearts full of ambition and spirits forged in determination, these young men and women step forward to embrace a 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗷𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆. The next 4 weeks of challenging and demanding activities that lie ahead, mark their formal initiation into a life of discipline, resilience, and maritime excellence. As they stand in formation, we celebrate the beginning of their voyage to become the next generation of seafaring leaders, ready to navigate the world’s oceans with courage and skill.

𝗔𝗞𝗔𝗥𝗜𝗢𝗦𝗦 𝗟𝗔𝗨𝗡𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗖𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗬 : 𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗨𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗜𝗥 𝗧𝗛𝗥𝗘𝗘 𝗬𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗦 𝗜𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗔𝗖𝗔𝗗𝗘𝗠𝗬

On 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟰, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, a total of 𝟮𝟳𝟰 strong members of 𝗠𝗠𝗠𝗔 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟮 “𝗔𝗞𝗔𝗥𝗜𝗢𝗦𝗦” cadets had their 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆, the most awaited event for third year cadets. For three years, 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝗔𝗞𝗔𝗥𝗜𝗢𝗦𝗦 walked the halls of the academy not just as cadets, but as a family in the making. They faced challenges, built friendships, endured failures, and celebrated the small wins that shaped them. Now, they stand at the edge of a new beginning.

Their launching ceremony has taken off and they take the next step toward onboard training; they carry with them the discipline, excellence, and service formed with their training inside.
